Annalise knew a fight would happen today if Rafael were not to speak with the captain of the border guard. As Rafael's maid, Mavis would want her to tell him to talk with the captain for a moment to avoid trouble, but why would she do that when she could witness a fight between the knights and border guards right in front of her?

Violence was always the answer.

Annalise hoped Rafael would walk outside with his cold attitude and brush past the man wanting to speak to him. Then punches would be thrown and she would be at the front to see it. She didn't need to kill anyone else thanks to the tension between the two sides.

"Why are you smiling at me, Annalise? It leads me to think you are lying about not liking me or you are plotting a mess I will have to help you clean up. As much as I might like you, I could still fire you. It would fix two problems," Rafael said as he put his sword back to his side.
