Annalise kept Beatrice distracted by trying on a pair of shoes Beatrice had picked out for her.

Beatrice had noticed how uncomfortable she was with the heels on the shoes she wore to the ball and picked out a pair of shoes without much of a heel on them for Annalise to wear daily.

"I must get something for you," Annalise said as just like with Rafael, she had received plenty from Beatrice.

"Nonsense," Beatrice said, dismissing Annalise's offer. Annalise was already gifting her daily with her interactions with Rafael. Beatrice had never been so entertained when It came to Rafael's love life. "I don't want anything just because I am buying you shoes. I have no one to spoil aside from Rafael and River. It is nice to have someone around who is not interested in weapons."
