"Are you prepared to cook dinner for us? I can help you cut up whatever you need, but I cannot help with adding any flavour to the food. We shouldn't scare Lydia on the first night she is with us," said Annalise.

Annalise was paying great attention to any noise on the other side of the door as they awaited Thelma returning with Lydia.

"I will do all the cooking. You only need to keep her busy until dinner is ready. We'll need to put together a room for her. Perhaps the one you used before," Rafael suggested since it was to the opposite of the room they were using now.

Should anything happen during the night, they would be nearby.

Annalise was interrupted by the door opening and Thelma walking in holding Lydia's hand.

"Her bag is being packed by one of the other children and we just sent off the message to the guards so could you please give us a moment before we let you leave?" Thelma asked.
