Chapter 1128: Arrival

Chu Heng's residence had only the essentials already in place; he principally brought along the children's clothing and daily necessities, amounting to no more than three trunks.

Seeing that she did not mind at all, and even seemed quite cheerful, a hint of a smile flashed across Chu Heng's eyes. He initially wanted to say that transitioning from luxury to frugality is difficult, but this seemed completely unapplicable to Ah Yu. She appeared utterly indifferent to whether she was living in a nice house or wearing fine clothes.

After Ye Muyu had instructed the servants, she turned back to see him still standing there, puzzled, and asked, "Why haven't you left yet? I remember you were supposed to go to the palace immediately to see the Emperor, right?"

"Yes." Chu Heng nodded.

Ye Muyu urged, "Then you should hurry; perhaps His Highness Prince Qi will head straight to the palace without returning to the residence to pack. You should be quick too, so as not to delay."
