Arianna/Thea

I found myself wandering aimlessly through the grand halls of the palace, my boredom reaching its peak. With the book I had been reading now finished, I yearned for something to occupy my restless mind.

The tower, is connected to the main palace through a solitary passage. The passage was primarily reserved for the wizards, granting them swift access to the royal family. With cautious steps, I slipped into the palace unnoticed, my presence veiled by the hustle and bustle of the palace.

Every palace has secret passages, I had found all the secret passages in the palace in Aradia.

Now that I have nothing else to do, I might as well try and find if there are any secret passages here.

Walking with purpose, I made sure to adopt an air of purposeful intent, deflecting any suspicion from the ever-watchful guards stationed throughout the palace.

Though the walls were adorned with portraits of past monarchs, they failed to conceal the entrance to a hidden passage, as their frames were not sizable enough to disguise a secret door.

As I navigated the corridors, I stumbled upon a tapestry that adorned an entire wall. Exited, I took a peek behind, making sure no one saw me, but my hopes were dashed as I found no concealed passage behind it. Undeterred, I continued my quest, my boredom pushing me forward.

The palace seemed unusually abuzz with activity. A swarm of maids hurriedly moved about, meticulously cleaning every nook and cranny.

The head maid's voice cut through the air, her tone commanding as she stressed the need for perfection. some of them were carrying huge swaths of golden fabric.

The head maid's voice cut through the air, her tone commanding as she stressed the need for perfection.

"Hurry up! We only have two days to prepare," she called out to her fellow maids. "The princess's birthday celebration must be flawless. There is no room for mistakes."

My birthday is also in a month, not that there will be any celebration like this for me.

I walked ahead, thinking of Aradia. I wonder what is happening in Aradia.

I had sent Cosmo to Aradia with a letter, and now I was waiting for him to return.

It might also be the reason that I was taking the risk of being discovered and trying to occupy my mind.

I am worried as to what will I find in the letter that Cassie will send me.

It will be the confirmation I will need.

Is the marriage cancelled? Are they still searching for me?

Shaking my head to clear my worries, I continued on my search.

After painstakingly examining several tapestries, my efforts bore fruit as I discovered a hidden passage, concealed from prying eyes.

"i leave you for more than two hours and you are out to get beheaded?" Cosmo asked as he appeared out of thin air in a cloud of black smoke.
