"Ah, Thea!" Princess Alyssa greeted me with a warm smile. She was sitting on the dais, that was specially prepared for her.
I curtsied respectfully; I should distance myself from her too. "Your Royal Highness, you called for me."
We are enemies.
But the way she smiles at me, the way her innocence reflects in her actions.
"I simply had to thank you for the advice you gave me," she said, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "Thanks to you, I thought of a wonderful gift to ask from my father."
A wave of relief washed over me, and I replied modestly, "Oh, it was my pleasure to be of help. But you've already thanked me for it."
"If that is all I would like to take my leave." I curtsied again not wanting to come out as a rude person.
I should leave this place as soon as I can, I don't want to accidentally face him.
As I began to take my leave, a sudden cry from the princess stopped me in my tracks. "Wait!"
