Tang Zheng picked up his jacket and walked out of his office, his assistant began informing him of his mother's request for him to come home for dinner tomorrow. He paused momentarily, before nodding in acknowledgment.
Exiting the building, Tang Zheng glanced at his watch, realizing it was still early. He turned to his assistant and casually remarked, "You don't need to drive, you can head home now." The assistant, taken aback by the unexpected freedom, stammered, "Yes, sir. Thank you, sir." Tang Zheng then made his way to the parking lot, getting into the driver's seat of his car.
As he drove through the city, his mind wandered, Tang Zheng found himself near the vicinity of the Golden Palace Hotel. However, something caught his attention as he passed by the Golden Palace Hotel. He spotted Li Na and her friend, sitting at a food stall, engrossed in conversation.
As she ate a dumpling, Li Na seemed to be laughing at what her friend said. However, he quickly averted his gaze, focusing on the road ahead, and continued on his way.

Back at the Golden Palace Hall, when Li Yifeng witnessed the crowd walking out, he felt utterly drained. He couldn't understand how his wife had raised such a foolish daughter who disregarded his warnings and ended up ruining his carefully laid plans.
In frustration, Li Yifeng called his assistant and urgently requested him to block any news related to the Li family. He wasn't ready to deal with any further complications along the way.
Li Yifeng approached Zhang Mei, his irritation clearly visible on his face, and forcefully pulled Li Jing and Zhang Mei off the stage. Both of them already infuriated him with their actions.
He sternly instructed Zhang Mei to take Li Jing back home. Zhang Mei, displaying her stubbornness, and retorted, "You must seek justice for our daughter!" Li Yifeng yelled back at her, his voice filled with anger, "Can't you see the mess both of you have already caused? All my plans have been ruined because of you! I would have expected such behavior from Li Na, but not from you!"
As Li Jing heard her father compare her to Li Na, her fists clenched tightly, anger and resentment burning in her eyes.
Zhang Mei, refusing to back down, snapped, "How can you compare my Li Jing to Li Na? Your precious daughter isn't even here to shoulder the responsibility for her sister. Instead, she went into hiding with the rest of the crowd. It's obvious she doesn't want to be associated with us when we are at our lowest. Such a lovely daughter, indeed," she said, her tone filled with mockery.
Li Yifeng had had enough. He turned around and noticed a few people glancing in their direction. Adjusting his facial expression, he tried to remain calm. He then turned to Zhang Mei and firmly told her to take Li Jing home for the last time before walking away.
Realizing the need to appease his business partners, Li Yifeng took charge of the situation. As the event came to an end, the venue emptied out, leaving Li Yifeng behind. He remained there, drowning his frustrations with gulp after gulp of alcohol.
Suddenly, Wang Yuling, the opportunist, approached Li Yifeng from behind and embraced him, her hands rubbing his shoulders seductively.
She whispered, "It has been hard on you. Come, let's go back to my room." Wang Yuling, who had maintained her beauty over the years, knew how to make herself alluring, and it seemed to be working, as Li Yifeng leaned in for a kiss.
Click! Unbeknownst to them, someone had secretly taken a photograph of the two cheaters, capturing their illicit moment.
Soon enough, Li Yifeng succumbed to temptation and followed Wang Yuling to her hotel room.

Meanwhile, outside a food stall, Li Na and Ning Yu had finished their meal. Ning Yu suggested calling her brother to pick them up, using the excuse of being young and needing to save money.

Ning An, surrounded by a group of friends, received a call from his little sister, Ning Yu, informing him that they were finished and needed a ride home.
Putting down his phone, a smile unconsciously spread across Ning An's face, his anticipation evident as he realized he would have the chance to see Li Na again.
One of his friends couldn't help but tease him, saying, "I can't believe you're grinning like a fool. Was that your girlfriend?"
Ning An chose not to give any comment with a response and simply replied, "I have to go now,"
With a playful displeasure evident in his friend Fang Qiao's tone. Who immediately began playacting, dramatically placing his hand on his forehead and exclaiming, "Ning An, don't leave us! Bros before hoes!"
Ning An chuckled at Fang Qiao's melodramatic act and playfully rolled his eyes. "Don't worry, my dear friend," he said with a smirk. "Bros will always be bros, but duty calls."
He bid farewell to his friends, walked out of the building, and drove to the location given by Ning Yu.
