After a moment, the nurse removed the thermometer, reading the temperature with a soft tone. She said, "No fever. That's good. Now, I'll check your blood pressure." She wrapped the cuff around Li Na's arm and listened to the rhythmic pulse of the machine.
Li Na watched the nurse's every move, her scared eyes still looking towards the door. She felt uneasy, as if that shadowy figure was waiting for her outside.
