REBIRTH AND REVENGE

Li Yifeng deftly sidestepped, avoiding Zhang Mei in case she managed to escape and hit him. Seeing that Zhang Mei was hurt by his actions, she screamed his name, making him flinch. Her voice echoed through the corridor like a wounded animal. Attracting the attention of everyone nearby.

Zhang Mei's eyes were bloodshot as she tried to lunge at him again, but one of the security guards stuffed a cloth into her mouth. She muffled and struggled, but it was useless. The security guards quickly dragged her away. Li Yifeng watched her go, feeling a bit of guilt. He had loved her once, but now he felt nothing but resentment.

Li Yifeng rushed to Wang Yuling with a worried expression. "Did she hurt you?" he asked, scanning her body for any injuries. He saw none, and he felt relieved.
