REBIRTH AND REVENGE

Wu Jing and Ning Yu were staring at each other as if they were having a staring contest. The sound of rain could be heard outside as they were seated high up on the ferris wheel. They had been stuck there for a while, waiting for the ride to resume.

"Are you happy now? I told you that we should have waited, but you were just so eager. Now look, we're stuck up here," Ning Yu said, as she angrily looked out the window. The rain was hitting the glass, making it hard to see anything.

Wu Jing really did not know what to say. He hadn't expected this either. He had wanted to go on the ferris wheel with her, hoping to redeem his image after the vomiting incident. But alas, he hadn't expected the rain to come down so quickly and stop the ride.

"I'm sorry," he said, looking at her beautiful side profile.
