A Trip To The Convenient Store

Li Na looked at the plate and felt overwhelmed. It was more food than she usually ate in a week. There were buns stuffed with meat and vegetables, porridge with nuts and dates, eggs fried with scallions, dumplings filled with shrimp and pork, and fruits sliced and arranged in a colorful pattern.

Li Na felt touched, but also stressed. How could she possibly eat the food made by such a dignified woman? She knew the old madam meant well, but she also knew she was wasting precious resources. She wondered how many hungry people could be fed with this food.

Putting on a smile she said, "Grandma, thank you so much. This looks delicious. But why don't you also sit and eat? You must be hungry too."

The old madam waved her hand, "Don't worry about me. Seeing you full will make me full as well. Now hurry up and eat. You need to have energy for the day." She said as she made her way back to the kitchen, leaving Li Na alone with Tang Zheng.
