A Dark Omen

"I'm fine. I was just worried when I heard the loud crash," Li Na said

"Yeah, me too. I wonder what happened," Ning Yu said, looking at the smoke rising from the street. She had a bad feeling in her gut.

"I think it has something to do with your cousin Jin Wei."

"What?" Ning Yu gasped. She knew Jin Wei was a troublemaker, but she didn't expect him to cause such a mess. "How do you know?"

"He asked brother Ning An to borrow his car and he gave it to him,"

Ning Yu frowned. She couldn't believe her brother was so careless. "Why would he do that, knowing how Jin Wei acts?"

Ning Yu shook her head, she didn't want to think about her cousin anymore.

"Anyways, let's go get an early meal from the kitchen," Ning Yu said, changing the subject.

Li Na smiled, she nodded, following Ning Yu.

"I need to use the bathroom," Li Na said, as they reached the door of Ning Yu's house.
