Prisoner In Chains

Master Xuan's gaze lingered on Tang Zheng for a moment longer before he continued walking. "Come, let's discuss our plans further at my headquarters."

Master Xuan led Tang Zheng to a room with a single shoji standing at the far end. With a flick of his wrist, Master Xuan slid the shoji aside, revealing not another room, but an elevator, its doors gliding open with a hushed sigh.

"This makes things easier," Master Xuan said as he stepped inside.

"Agreed," Tang Zheng replied, following him into the elevator. The doors closed with a soft click, and Master Xuan pressed the button for the ground floor. As the elevator began its descent, Master Xuan broke the silence.

"You haven't been here in a while, Tang Zheng. I've managed to grab a hold of some new… acquisitions. Maybe one of them will have something useful to say."

Tang Zheng's eyes narrowed slightly. "Seems like you've been busy these past couple of years."
