Li Na's golden eyes glinted with disdain as she sneered, "It's too early for a family reunion. I didn't think you dragged me here just to show me this… crap. It's not worth my time."
"Watch it," Aiden snapped, his jaw tightening. His hands curled into fists, barely containing his anger.
The golden-eyed Li Na tilted her head, a mocking smile curling her lips. "And what are you going to do, muscle brain? Throw a tantrum?"
Aiden took a sharp step forward, his face darkening, but Meilin intercepted him, her arm shooting out to hold him back. "Don't," she said firmly, though her own irritation was starting to show. She knew better than to let this version of Li Na get under her skin.
Meilin's voice was clipped as she turned to Li Na. "Why did you destroy it?"
Li Na's golden gaze flicked to Meilin, her tone icy. "Because it's useless. And besides, I have no intention of letting any of you, especially you, have the upper hand."
