Her eyes glistened with what anyone else might have thought were tears of sincerity.

But Li Na wasn't anyone else. She took a deliberate step to the side, sidestepping Li Jing. Without a glance back, she strode toward the gates of the condominium, her silence a dismissal louder than any words.

"Mom is acting deranged, and Dad is missing! How can a daughter be so heartless? Or is it because you're sleeping around with rich men that you've forgotten your family?"
