Chapter 5: The Escape

Lena's heart raced as she struggled against the restraints that held her to the chair. She had no idea how long she had been unconscious, but she knew that she had to get free before Dr. Viktor could use her to harness the power of the iceberg's energy.

She strained against the restraints, but they were too strong. She was trapped, with no way out.

But then she remembered the small knife she always kept in her pocket. It was a tool she had used on countless expeditions, and she knew it could be her ticket to freedom.

With all her strength, she reached into her pocket and drew out the knife. It was a small blade, but sharp enough to cut through the ropes that bound her.

She worked quickly, slicing through the restraints with practiced ease. Finally, she was free.

But she knew that she had to act fast. Dr. Viktor could be back at any moment, and she had to escape before he could stop her.

She looked around the room, searching for a way out. There was a door on the far side of the room, but it was locked, and she had no way of opening it.

And then she saw it – a ventilation shaft, just big enough for her to crawl through. It was a long shot, but it was her only chance.

She made her way to the shaft, crawling on her hands and knees, trying to stay as quiet as possible. She could hear the hum of machinery all around her, and she knew that Dr. Viktor was close.

She crawled faster, her heart pounding in her chest. Finally, she reached the end of the shaft, and she could see the dim light of the outside world.

With a burst of energy, she pushed through the final barrier and tumbled out into the open air.

She was outside, on the top of a towering cliff. The wind whipped around her, and she could feel the cold spray of the ocean below.

But she had no time to savor her freedom. She had to get away, to find help, to stop Dr. Viktor from using the power of the iceberg's energy for his own nefarious purposes.

She took a deep breath and began to run, her eyes fixed on the horizon. She didn't know what lay ahead, but she knew that she had to keep moving forward.
