Chapter 12

“I guess that they thought a grenade wasn’t a clear enough message.” Eddie commented dryly when Felicia showed them the note.

“Grenade?” Hank asked incredulously. “Is this real life or some kind of James Bond movie?”

“A little bit of both, it seems,” Kirk replied as he studied the note. “It’s typed up, so we aren’t going to be able to find anything out with handwriting, and I’m not seeing any kind of watermark on the paper. Felicia, I don’t think that you should wait any longer to go and talk to Detective Reynolds.”

“You’re right,” Felicia said as she nodded her head.

“Is it alright if I go with you?” Hank asked her. “I don’t really want to be alone with my thoughts at the moment.”

“Of course,” Felicia responded. “As a matter of fact, it would probably be a good idea if we were all to go. With that grenade earlier, and now this note, I don’t want anyone to be left on their own.”

“Would we all be able to fit into your car?” Eddie asked.
