Chapter Forty-nine [ The last messages]

Working alone on Mr. Heinz's farm, Daniele awoke early once more. The entire workforce has left, and it is already the weekend in October. After six days of hard work, the agricultural company's policy is to offer all of its workers a chance to rest and obey God's instruction to observe the seventh day.

Daniele thought the farmer was a born-again Christian at first. Her initial assumption is now untrue, though, as even Universal churches follow the Lord's Day of Rest, including David and her, who were once ardent believers without acknowledging their earlier schooling.
