Damian's P. O.V
I never thought I'd stare down onto the grave of my love. Her name cursively carved out in stone. I hung an umbrella on her headstone so the flowers wouldn't get wet by the heavy splatters of rain.
Soon, I was drenched in this same rain. I didn't care. In silence I stood, watching, praying that all this would be a coax. I still had an ounce of hope.
Funny right?
Memories of her flooded into mind. From the first day I laid eyes on her to the last day she slipped from my arms. Her pale grey eyes that had seen more suffering than any of us. Her full lips that formed the brightest smile I've ever seen on any woman. Her eyes lit up with that smile. My heart remained deeply burdened. First it was Layla, now Sky. Was I really bound to live like this? To live with this pain my whole life?
I felt a light tap on my shoulder. Andrew looked at me with red, puffy eyes.
''Everyone has left. You can't stay with her forever. You need rest and its getting dark''
