A Walk around Town(7

The Carriage stopped Infront of the most famous Tailor shop in town ,The door was opened by the doorman and the Three ladies stepped out .

Darlene eyes roamed the big Town , It's was bustling with people going here and there, Business booming in every corner .

Her eyes shone in wonder ,She rarely go to the Town , It's not like the Woman would allow her anyway.

The Only place She sneaks out to is the Forest.

Garda and Hannah already made their way into the Shop , Darlene has no choice but to follow even though she wish to explore the town .

"Welcome Mrs Cowell ,What do we owe this Awesome presence of yours"The Owner of the shop came out from her office , a smile on her lips as she did curtsey to the Woman .

Garda smiled ."We are looking for gown for my daughter- "Then her smile was replaced with distaste "And my ....Step daughter "

Lady Vera as the Tailor goes by ,looked at the two girls.Her eyes brushed on Hannah then on Darlene who has her back to her staring outside of the shop .

She nodded ,

"It's my pleasure to serve you today ,My lady.....Please let me show you around ,So you can chose what you want "Lady Vera said ,Hannah smiled then stepped forward ,her head hung high in pride with how the woman was catering for her needs .

Lady Vera didn't bother about Darlene ,She understand Garda without her unspoken words and she knew who to respect .

Garda smiled .The Lady knows who to respect .

She looked at Darlene who was still staring out of the shop ,her lips lifted into a devious smile .

"Darlene ....."Garda called out , Walking towards her ,a smile gracing her lips .

Darlene turned to her , looking at her suspiciously .The Woman rarely smiled at her unless she has an evil plan in mind .

"Yes ....Mother"Darlene answered with a sweet smile ,Garda smile dropped instantly hearing the girl call her Mother .Her lips twitched in distaste .

Darlene smile widened .She knew how much the Woman hated her calling her Mother.

"You seems to like the town ...Do you want to go on a walk around "Garda asked with a sweet and doubtfully kind voice .Her lips forcing itself to curve up to a smile.

Darlene looked at her .The Woman is planning something ,She can't wait to find out what it is .

"Ofcourse ...Mother , Should we go together,I don't want to go alone"Darlene said ,Garda smile fell again ,She literally glared at Darlene this time .

"No dear .....Have you forgotten about the gown ,I will pick a gown for you why you go on a walk ,I know it's been long since you go on a walk .How about you do that today"Garda calmly while her eyes glared at Darlene .

Darlene shaked her head and let out a short chuckle .The Woman is really bad at acting .

"No worries Mother ...Please Make sure to pick the most beautiful gown for me "Darlene said .Garda nodded,Now smiling back .The Idiot had fallen for her trap .

"Okay My dear .....Take your time "Garda waved as Darlene made her way out of the Shop .

Darlene rolled her eyes ,She will just take a walk around , It's not as if she really wants to go the Masquerade Ball in the first place .

She already know the Woman would pick the worst dress for her but then Who cares.
