Quiet and Eerie

Expensive Carriages are parked outside the Castle , People could be seen trooping in groups into the Castle ,all dressed in their finest and richest attires .

The Royal Castle was very beautiful and Large being built on 6 hectares of land and is one of the largest Castle in the whole World .

The Royal Castle stood tall and Mighty against the darkness of the night .

Hannah eyes glowed with happiness seeing the Castle .

The Door was opened by the Doorman and Hannah picked up the front of her gown before stepped out majestically .Her best smile plastered on her lips ,her shoulder held high and her head held high gracefully showing the quality of a rich lady.

The Doorman bowed a little and Hannah humphed then waited for her mother to come down as well .

Garda was dressed up in a expensive Blue gown ,her hair was styled into a complex Bun ,a beautiful blue Sapphire necklace adorned her neck .A Blue mask covered her face while Hannah wore a red mask.

"Mother...."Hannah Whispered ,Garda nodded .The Two Ladies walked toward the huge Golden Door .

They greeted a few ladies they met on their way .

Hannah eyes roamed the big Hall where the Masquerade Ball was organized .She couldn't help but 'Wow' seeing how grandiose and majestic the Castle was .

"Oh my... Lady Cowell,What a surprise"A Tall Woman walked towards them ,She wore a white mask and a green gown .

A glass of wine in one of her hand .A big smile on her lips .

"Lady Carmine...."Garda said with a small smile .

Hannah stood behind her mother not bothering to greet the woman as her eyes busied themselves admiring the magnificent Castle.

The Castle was too beautiful with Golds decorating everywhere.

"How are you doing now,I heard you were sick during one of the tea party hosted by Lady Byre "Lady Carmine said with concern .Garda smiled.

"Ooh Am perfectly fine now ...Thank for your concern Lady Carmine"Garda said with a forced smile .Carmine nodded .

Her eyes then landed on Hannah .

"Oh. ..Who is this beautiful lady behind you if I may ask"Lady Carmine asked with a polite smile .

Hannah did a curtsy sensing the attention on her now .

Garda glanced at Hannah then placed her hand on her shoulder.

"This is my precious daughter .Hannah Cowell"Garda introduced with a small smile ,Carmine smiled .

"She is Soo beautiful , Taking after you"Carmine complimented .Garda chuckled .

"Thank you Lady Carmine ,Such a pleasure speaking with you "Garda Said quickly , Carmine smiled then walked away .

Garda hissed and rolled her eyes .

'Boot licker'Garda thought with annoyance .

"Over here"Hannah signalled to a maid carrying drinks .

The Maid did a Curtsy then present the tray to her front.

"Mom??"Hannah called out after taking her own drink .Garda snapped out of her daze ,She looked at Hannah with a arched brow.

"Drink??"Hannah pointed out ,Garda looked at the maid holding the tray containing Drinks .

"Oh ...Yeah"Garda murmured then quickly picked her own drink glass .

"Who was that Woman??"Hannah asked as they walked towards the front roll nearer to the Throne .

"The Concubine of that Old Minister .....Lord Silas "Garda whispered,her eyes met with another wealthy lady and she smiled then raised her glass as a sign of greetings .The False smile fell after getting out of her sight again ,Hannah mouth formed an 'O' before her eyes turned into disgust.

"A gold digger ,I would say"Hannah said nonchalantly then sipped her drink .

Garda nodded .

They fell into silent as they watched People interact with each other .

The Old Carriage suddenly stopped in the middle of the forest .

Darlene arched her brow. ,she opened the curtain ,the driver was already Infront of her door.

"What is Wrong "Darlene asked with a stiff tone seeing the driver looking tensed .

"One of the wheels is faulty My lady .....And there is nothing I can do"The Driver said .

"Can't you change the wheels??"Darlene asked calmly yet stiff .

"No Young Miss .....Am an old Man ,I can't repair the wheels "The Driver explained , Darlene sighed,She slowly opened the door .

The Forest was now dark and too quiet .

No Other Carriage was passing by .

"Don't worry .....I will change the wheels "Darlene said calmly as she climbed out of the Carriage.The Cold breeze hit mercilessly against her skin ,she couldn't help but shiver a little .The Driver eyes widen in shock .

A Lady changing Wheels..... That's weird and unheard of.

"I....I Are ...You sure you can do this My lady .... It's the job of a Man "The Driver said in disbelief.He wasn't ready to believe a Lady can do that.

Darlene chuckled lightly hearing his words .

"Don't worry your head Old Man ,I can do it . It's not my first time ."Darlene said ,her eyes scanned her surrounding .

She wasn't familiar with this part of the Forest . It's looked strange and too quiet for her liking giving one an eerie feeling.
