Crying

Elmer and Garth chatted happily in the living room, like close friends. Garth applauded while chatting, and Elmer strained his brain to respond to him.

Elmer was neither a military expert nor a critic, so he struggled a bit. But at least he didn't feel looked down upon by Garth anymore, which was a relief.

Seeing them having a great time, Faye decided to go grocery shopping with her daughter. Normally, they would have the maid do it, but Faye wanted to cook a satisfying meal for them.

As lunchtime approached, Elmer's mother called him and asked if he wanted to come home for lunch. Elmer wanted to, but he couldn't. He couldn't even go home for dinner. It would probably be late before he could return.

So he explained the current situation to his mother, who was not unreasonable. However, knowing that her son would be having two meals at Luna's house with her parents, she couldn't help but have wild thoughts.
