After the Calm

Elmer stopped in his tracks and looked at Bla. She had managed to eliminate all the dark elves, which meant that she indeed possessed extraordinary magical power. As for how terrifying it was, one couldn't tell from her seemingly fifteen-year-old face. Elmer gave her a second look with his airport-like eyes and continued walking forward.

"Don't you believe me?" Bla had already put on her magic hat, and the poor black cat continued to consort with the darkness.

"Whatever, I don't have any wishes for now," Elmer chuckled, looking at the ink-black horizon. He yawned and continued walking towards home.

"You do have wishes, everyone has wishes. You can't not have any because you're a person. As long as you're a person, you have wishes. Short people want to be taller, fat people want to be thinner, and ugly people want to be more attractive. Aren't these all wishes?" Bla asked.
