Mykel took his time to enjoy his cigarette as more and more dark figures appeared out of nowhere. Sasha was trying to collect her strength, but every time she regained her strength, it disappeared again. Although she struggled, she wasn't harmed by the presence or anything, only losing her strength.
"How many times have you been trying to get through it?" Sasha asked as she went on all four to recover her strength.
"I have lost count. Also, every time I tried to walk past it and I could feel that the truth was within my grasp, that thing either sent me away or shredded my body into pieces," Mykel answered as he flicked the cigarette. "But the weird thing is that thing isn't trying to take over my body. Its sole purpose is to protect whatever is behind it," he added as he turned around and helped Sasha get up.
