Chapter 387: The world can't handle them.

On the sixth day, Mykel was drinking in the bar on his own, and he tried to suppress the memory of that day. He suppressed the memory that he had forgotten about it already and so far there was no sign of Aevia knowing about it. He didn't get his guard up pretending that she knew about it because that would only make it easier for her to notice.

"Drinking in the morning again?" Elysande looked at Mykel as she walked toward him.

"There's nothing I can do, and I will use it to enjoy my time in solitude," Mykel answered and watched Elysande sit beside him. "Would you like some coffee?" He stood up and walked behind the counter.

"I would prefer a milk tea if there's one," Elysande smiled as she looked at Mykel.
