The pack

Dark and menacing, with twisted trees that seem to reach up to the sky, is the forest outside of Silverwood. In this area, a pack of werewolves headed by the vicious Daniel roams freely in search of their next meal. Lyra, a young female werewolf who struggles to keep up with the rest of the pack, is one of them.

With the other werewolves, Lyra has never quite blended in. Because she is not as physically fit or as quick as they are, she frequently falls behind them during hunts. She tries so hard to keep up with the rest of the pack, but she just can't. She frequently feels like an outsider as a result, yearning for a place where she belongs.

The pack comes across a group of people camping in the woods one fateful night. Daniel orders an attack because he is ravenous and hostile, and the pack closes in to finish the job. Lyra, however, pauses because she gets the impression that something is off. She witnesses in awe as the other werewolves charge the camp, savoring their bloodlust.

Lyra notices a young human girl caught in the crossfire as the assault intensifies. The young girl is trembling in terror, her eyes wide. Lyra feels a sudden surge of compassion and realizes she can't just watch as innocent people are killed.

She turns and starts running, leaving the pack behind with a fierce determination. She quickly learns, however, that she is not alone. She is being pursued by a pack of heavily armed, combat-ready human hunters.

Lyra learns that the hunters are after the entire pack as she runs through the woods rather than just them. They are committed to eliminating the werewolves and permanently purging the forest of their kind.

She begins to realize there are other supernatural entities operating in the forest as she takes on the toughest test yet. Other creatures, some much more dangerous than the hunters themselves, are hiding in the shadows.

Lyra finds herself engaged in combat with a number of other supernatural foes as the full moon rises and the battle begins. She must rely entirely on her physical prowess and wits to make it through the night and safeguard her pack.

However, Lyra is aware that the real battle is within herself even as she fights to ensure the security of her loved ones and friends. She needs to face her own anxieties and doubts and muster the courage to defend her principles at all costs.

Lyra must choose whether to stand and fight alongside her pack as the hunters close in or to flee into the abyss. Will she be able to find a way to safeguard the people she cares about, or will she have to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to survive?
