Assassination III

Holding his katana in reverse grip, he slowly and gently raised it up like an experienced shinobi. " Bang!!" Teleporting in front of the veteran soldier, he unleashed a fierce barrage of slashes.

Unwilling to lose out, Captain Price immediately raised his hammer and smashed it towards the incoming sword slashes.

" Bang!"" Bang!!" The two men clashed in an epic battle of extreme fighting techniques. Every move was made with calculative and foreseen movements.

Splitting his concentration into two, Silver immediately made use of his Psionic energy, as rocks and large trees smashed towards Captain Price.

A blue symbol lit on the neck of the veteran soldier, as a wall of flames immediately sprung up and protected him from the psychic assault.

He was also going all out, evident by the serious and murderous look in his eyes. Taking a step back, a fierce wind blew, before a silvery white spears materialized from winds shot towards Silver who easily deflected with his katana.

Taking a step back once more, the veteran soldier's hammer was suddenly covered by flames, before a gentle wind immediately covered the hammer, evident by the increase in tenacity of the flames.

Taking a step forward, his body rushed toward Silver and the hammer smashed right at him.

Silver seeing the upcoming attack immediately covered his katana in a pure Psionic force. Still holding it in reverse grip, he skillfully made a 180 degree spin in the air and slashed it out to meet the hammer.

" Bang!!" A massive shockwave spread from the point of impact, as Silver was sent flying, his body sustaining damage once more. His body slammed into the Psionic shield and slid down.

Not wasting a single breath,the veteran soldier empowered his flames with even more wind energy, exponentially increasing its explosive power as he jumped and smashed the hammer into Silver.

"Bang!" Silver immediately teleported and appeared behind him instantly before kicking out fiercely, sending the veteran soldier flying while spitting blood.

" Two minutes and 55 seconds left." Silver thought as he immediately took a deep breath.

" You're one of the few people I've actually used this technique on... you should be proud kid!!" The veteran soldier immediately got into a stance with his hammer as he spoke.

" Meteor flame attack: Total eclipse." His body immediately burst out into flames as he began to concentrate all of his mana into a single attack.

Seeing this Silver sighed and got into a hand seal. Without saying anything, he began to concentrate the remaining amount of mana in his body as well as mana from his surroundings into a single point in space.

Suddenly, his arcana lit up on his neck, and soon, the golden sphere of mana began to distort along with the surrounding space.

Sweat appeared on Silver's forehead as he deepened his concentration. This was a technique he theoretically made over the past few months, however he had never actually practiced it. He had to give it his all, else the backlash would kill him.

" Aarrggh" letting out a low groan, blood burst out his nose and mouth, as he refused to stop. The whole technique was based on his arcana, and using his distortion manipulation, he was actually pulling apart and twisting every single molecule of mana in the sphere before him. It was based on his own principle that; " Twisting positivity births negativity." A principle which was neither true nor false at the same time.

" Crack !Crack! Boom!" Thunder boomed, lightning crackled and dark clouds covered the sky. It was as if the entire world was witnessing the birth of an extremely dangerous technique based on a flimsy principle.

Soon, the golden sphere of energy completely transformed into a sinister and evil bloody red energy sphere which rippled with an aura of pure destruction.

Slowly getting into a stance, Silver pulled his right arm near his face and bent his index and middle fingers and completely stretched his left arm, slightly bending his left fingers forward.

Immediately the sphere formed, the lightning in the surrounding turned red, as the clouds were painted with a slightly red hue and the thunder increased in momentum.

After a few seconds, Gaz and Barbara had arrived at the battle field and what they saw completely left them awestruck. This was a demonstration of true power and none of them even bothered to help as they knew they would be killed in the cross fire.

The veteran soldier roared out, as he threw his hammer out with all of his power, letting it smash towards Silver like a flaming meteor, burning everything in its path.

" Go." Silver in the other hand gently uttered, before the blood red sphere of energy shot out like a bleeding star, leaving a wake of destruction in its path.

" Boom!!!!!" A massive shock and energywave spread, completely destroying everything and anything within a 100km radius. Gaz and Barbara were swept away completely by the mere waves from the attack as they sustained serious injuries.

After several seconds, the dust died down, revealing a shirtless Silver with slightly burnt skin. His entire face and body was bloody, and his consciousness was drifting away, yet he held himself together and bit his tongue to regain it.

A second later, another figure came into view. It was the veteran soldier who had the entire left side of his body burnt off while his face was twisted into a fiery mess.

" Who's dying now." Silver slowly walked up to him and glanced at him with cold eyes.

" Please spare m—" He didn't even finish his words, before his head was exploded into a bloody mess by Psionic energy.

Silver then turned around to see Gaz and Barbara staring at him with dumbfounded expressions. Slowly lifting his hand, a silver katana materialized, a construct of Psionic energy which he pointed at the duo causing them to shiver as he let out a chilling smile.

" Moon! " What happened to you? Where's Silver?" Meanwhile, in an area several miles away from the battle field, Moon crash landed in front of Samael who was having a good time taking a nap.

Seeing her state he immediately got startled. He picked her up, took a pill from his pouch and placed it in her mouth. A dozen seconds later, her color returned to normal as she opened her eyes and exclaimed.

" Silver we need to go help Silver!!!" She immediately got up and tried running only to stumble and fall. Seeing her urgency, Samael carried her bridal style, as a pair of wings burst out from his back and he disappeared in a trail of golden light.

Even at top speed, it took Samael a couple of minutes to get to the battle field, and there they were completely star struck.

The level of destruction that had been caused was not something ordinary arcanists like them could even dream of causing.

Walking even further in, they saw a corpse with its head exploded in a bloody mess, they also saw a corpse which Moon recognized to be the woman who attacked her, only, the body was completely butchered. Walking forward even more, they found another corpse that had been completely butchered into pieces. And by the corpse, the saw a silver haired figure sitting under an almost destroyed tree with a silver saber stabbed into the ground in front of him.

His head was leaned against the tree and his eyes were closed. He was completely shirtless and his body was covered in wounds.

" Silver!!!" Seeing his state, she immediately rushed to him.

" He did this? All of this??" Samael took steps back in fear for the first time. How could a level two arcanist cause such a damage and kill two level 4 arcanists and a single level 3 arcanist. It felt unreal to him, yet at the same time, the evidence was right here in front of him.
