“Am I not allowed to have a bath with my wife?” he remarked with a cold tone. “I purposely asked for a big tub to just make sure that the two of us will fit in it together.”

She sighed, not tearing her gaze away from him as she regained her composure. Seeing him smirk she forced herself to get comfortable as he spoke. 

“That’s more like it. You said it yourself that no one forced you into marrying me. Instead, you offered and volunteered yourself willingly for it, so I expect that you’ll be confident enough to share a bath with your husband,” Nikolai confidently stated. “After all, we’ll do more than this soon enough.”

Shameless… 

Preventing herself from rolling her eyes, she managed to give him a smile as she said, “Don’t blame me if you die on me then.”

The Crown's Seduction

"Happy birthday, Your Majesty," Laura greeted with a curt bow.

Mineah was about to say something in return, but a servant then approached her with a beautiful piece of fabric in her hands. "This is a gift from His Majesty. The finest cloak in all the kingdoms, made with the feathers of a magical swan maiden," Laura continued as she explained to Mineah what it was.

"It's a cloak that can give you much warmth but His Majesty wants to reiterate that his arms are still the best in giving you warmth like no other…"

Mineah chuckled as Laura then moved to give way for her. "Please continue with your destination, Your Majesty," she stated with a grin. "I will make sure that this gift from His Majesty will be well kept…"

"Thank you, Laura…" Mineah nodded.
