Hello, fellow adventurers

Before you start reading my journal, allow me to ask a simple question, dear reader. Did you ever hear a tick? Kinda like the sound clocks make but without them around? You ever lied in the grass after a hard day of work and heard your heart hammer away in your chest, reminding you it only has so many beats left until it expires. Did you ever dream of experiencing your own funeral or rotting away in a casket?

I've felt that for quite some time now, nagging away at me. The time I have left is shortening with frightening speed.

Well, my mother always said 'Nothol, my dear, shut up and do the dishes' or 'We don't have enough money to call a doctor just because you think you have a clock inside you'. Aww, bless that woman.

So after much consideration I decided to make my dream come true. When I was little I found two magical items while digging through the ground. One was a book filled with reports of other worlds. It's this very book I'm writing in now. Over time I tried to learn the language so I could decipher what was written inside of it. After I did, I found an abundance of worlds, recorded in this little book, waiting for me to read them. For years now I dreamed of adding to them. Tell the book and whoever is bold enough to read it the story of my world.

So what can you expect from this journal?

Not much, I suppose. The world I was born in is quite boring.

We don't have 'space ships' or 'cultivation' or 'Pommes Frites' or any of that awesome stuff. (Like really? Squared mini-potato swords? How cool is that?)

All we have are dragons, wizards, demons and whatnot, all that normal stuff and none of it is made of potatoes.

Still maybe a few people will find joy in what I have to share. Starting tomorrow I will leave my village behind and roam the world, writing everything down as it happens. I will try to stay as objective in my retelling of things as I can. I will try to compose my little report of a combination of retelling, logs and interviews with various people (if they are willing to talk to me).

PS: Like I have already explained, I am not native to the language used in this, so in case you're reading this and find any misspellings or grammatical errors, please let me know.
