Monarchs

Having the title 'Monarch' popping up in my last log it seems some explanation is in order. Everyone already familiar with the concept of power may just skip to the next entry.

Monarchs are the epitome of what it means to have perfected a singular style of magic.

Even though most monarchs could take one multiple guild masters (the leaders of a guild that are also quite powerful) there is no law that prevents monarchs from fighting each other like for the guild masters. Reason being no kingdom could enforce such a rule.

As of now there are 9 monarchs, 5 of them I know the name of.

Moldred, Ashen Monarch.

Ushgriel, Monarch of Arms.

Labos, Faceless Monarch.

Eiril, Monarch of Mercy.

Iben, the Unkillable Monarch.

The only one of them I know anything about is Ushgriel. He is the monarch that has mastered the art of infusing magic into objects. Legend has it that he once beheaded an adult dragon with a simple kitchen knife (though this might be an exaggeration)

He is a thin-skinned ogre, meaning he is built more like a human but with two horns and red pigmentation. He was basically handicapped with a weak human body from birth and still managed to become one of the strongest members of his species.
