Although he didn't surpass the fifth Yin level, his aura was infinitely close to reaching the sixth Yin level!
"Now, all of you will die!" The three lives assassin shouted furiously. He shot towards Long feng. His speed had almost doubled!
"Nirvana saint technique! Heavenly palm descent!" Long feng used this skill again and thrust his palm at the incoming assassin.
The three lives assassin also thrust out his palm.
BOOM!
Energy ripples roared out furiously. Both of them were flung away. Long feng spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Nihility technique, sword strike!" The lady suddenly attacked the assassin.
"Triple extreme technique! All encompassing bell!" The three lives assassin shouted. His bell became unbelievably huge. It covered him, protecting him from the lady's attack.
CLANG!
Her sword collided against the huge bell and bounced back, leaving a few scratches on the bell.
"Nirvana saint technique, Zenith dragon strike!" Long feng used his strongest skill and thrust the sword at the bell.
The Sovereign sword glimmered coldly.
BAM!
It was like a dragon had crashed against the bell. Long feng was thrown away, while the bell shook violently. It cracked slightly and the crack spread all over the bell. The glow around it dimmed considerably, and the bell contracted, becoming small again.
The three lives assassin spat out mouthfuls of blood and his face paled to an unbelievable degree! He was controlling the bell, so as the bell was cracked, he had suffered a massive backlash. He glared at Long feng.
Long feng also suffered a slight backlash from the collision. The bell was very resilient, so cracking it was very hard. His hands shivered uncontrollably and his face paled. His energy reserves was completely dried out! He could not continue battling anymore.
The three lives assassin stood up.
"This battle is not over yet. I will return for you!" He gritted his teeth furiously. He had no choice but to flee. Right now, his energy reserves was also dry. He could only escape.
"Hand over the Wind calming jade or we continue the fight!" The lady challenged.
Three lives assassin grinded his teeth.
"Don't push your luck. I am quitting not because I am afraid of you, but because we are all unable to complete the battle!" He shouted hoarsely.
"I still have enough energy to fight." the lady replied, lifting her longsword.
Three lives assassin clenched his fist, his face reddening with rage. He knew that if they continued the battle, his chances of loosing were high.
"This isn't over. I will come back for you two!" He shouted and threw the green Jade at the lady. The lady caught the jade while the three lives assassin disappeared into the distance.
Yan Jian ran over to Long feng's side and helped him to his feet.
"Brother feng, are you okay?" He asked
Long feng nodded.
"I'm fine. Just little sore" he replied.
"Are you okay, miss?" Yan Jian asked the lady.
The lady ignored him and glanced at Long feng.
"You lied to us, to everyone.?" She asked.
Long feng laughed.
"Miss is speaking weirdly. I didn't lie to anyone. You just never bothered to ask me about my cultivation. You simply believed the talent platform. I am also not someone to brag about my strength" he replied.
"Then the talent platform was wrong. It was unable to measure the depth of your talent, like the legendary cultivator" the lady muttered.
"Legendary cultivator? Who is that?" Long feng asked curiously.
"Forget it." The lady replied, then she walked over to him.
"I am Li Yu'er" she suddenly said.
Long feng was confused for a minute.
"Oh! I am Long feng, as you already know" he replied with a smile.
"You've introduced yourself. Why still hide your face? Are you so very ugly?" Yan Jian asked humorously.
Li yu'er turned away without replying.
"You completely used up your energy. The Wind calming jade will help us to leave this Canyon safely." She said to Long feng.
"I thought the jade works on only one person?" Yan Jian asked.
"It can protect multiple people. We simply need to hold the jade together, or touch the person holding the jade" Li yu'er replied.
"Can you walk on your own? You took quite a few hits back then" Yan Jian asked both of them.
Li yu'er glared at him.
"I can manage" Long feng chuckled.
Turning to Li yu'er, Yan Jian grinned.
"So, miss Li. The jade is in your hands. How do we hold you?" He asked.
Long feng almost chocked trying to suppress his laughter.
Li yu'er stared at Yan Jian.
"Do you believe I will leave you in this Canyon?" She asked in a voice like ice.
Yan Jian stopped smiling and looked away.
"Forget it Miss Li. He was merely joking." Long feng interrupted.
Li yu'er threw the Wind calming jade at Yan Jian.
"You can hold it. I am fine alone" she said and turned to go.
On the way out of the Wind Canyon, Yan Jian and Long feng held hands while Li yu'er used her aura to protect herself from the crushing pressure in the Canyon. It took them four days to leave the Wind Canyon. They had spent almost three months to complete two missions, and only succeeded in completing one.
"Now, we should decide on how to share the thirty Yin crystals" outside the Canyon, Yan Jian said.
"Right." Long feng agreed. Both of them looked at Li yu'er.
"Fifteen, ten, five!" Li yu'er replied.
"Meaning?" Yan Jian asked.
"I get fifteen crystals, Long feng gets ten, and you get five for cheering on us during battles" she explained.
Yan Jian's face fell while Long feng shrugged.
"I agree!" Long feng nodded.
"Let's hurry up and return to the sect. The Elite competition is in two weeks!" He added.
They headed back and arrived at the Mortal heaven sect after eight day's journey..
