Outside one of the ordinary villages of the Fire Country stood seven individuals, none other than the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. However, upon observing their physical features, it can be concluded that all of them have been revived through 'Edo Tensei'.
Kushimaru spoke, "So, do we need to massacre this small village?"
Jinpachi replied, "Yes, it seems that the person who resurrected us intends to slaughter this entire village. But who cares? This is my favorite pastime, and on top of that, this village belongs to the Fire Country, so I don't have any problem with it." With an evil grin spreading wide across his face as he spoke.
"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's begin," said Kushimaru.
After saying this, Kushimaru attacked two men who were carrying something on their backs, talking happily, with his Nuibari sword. Since these two men were just ordinary people, they didn't even notice when Kushimaru arrived behind them and sewed them. Although this whole scene was cruel, it reflects the reality of the ninja world.
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen continued their attack on this village. Since the village was ordinary, no ninja were present, resulting in no resistance whatsoever from anyone towards these seven ninja swordsmen. Men and women were panicking, running here and there trying to save their lives, but their resistance and running were useless in front of the powerful Seven Ninja Swordsmen.
In less than 2 minutes, more than 50 people were killed.
As the Seven Ninja Swordsmen persisted in their relentless slaughter, an abrupt shift occurred in the environment. Dark clouds swiftly enveloped the entire village, casting an ominous shadow over the landscape. Above, amidst the brooding sky, a mysterious black hole materialized, from which descended a solitary figure.
Witnessing this perplexing phenomenon, all seven Ninja Swordsmen swiftly converged at a single location, drawn by curiosity and wariness alike. With meticulous scrutiny, they discerned the figure descending from the enigmatic black hole. It became apparent that the individual was a youthful man, appearing to be approximately 18 years of age. This person was none other than Jiryoku.
Jiryoku gazed at all seven Ninja Swordsmen, and just his look sent a chill running down the spine of each of them.
Jiryoku landed on the ground, ignoring the seven ninja swordsmen, and turned his attention to the villagers who were gazing at him. He spoke, "I am sorry for your loss, and I deeply regret not arriving in time to prevent the tragedy that has occurred here. However, for now, please vacate this area."
The villagers nodded in relief and complied with Jiryoku's instructions, beginning to depart from the vicinity.
"And do you think we will allow them to leave from here so easily?" said Kushimaru as he advanced towards a woman cradling her child.
Witnessing the approach of this ferocious individual responsible for the deaths of many of her fellow villagers, the woman knelt on the ground, shielding her child.
But as Kushimaru took just two steps, the air seemed to grow heavy with tension, anticipating Jiryoku's intervention. His voice, cold and commanding, cut through the silence, "Who told you to move?" With these words, Jiryoku merely cast a fleeting glance in Kushimaru's direction, and suddenly, as if struck by an unseen force, Kushimaru's movements were halted abruptly. He crashed to the ground with a deafening thud, the impact echoing through the surroundings and leaving behind a sizable crater as evidence of the immense force unleashed.
Jiryoku then turned his attention to the woman, his demeanor softening slightly as he spoke, "Go, leave with your child. You are safe now."
The woman, visibly relieved, bowed repeatedly towards Jiryoku, her gratitude evident in every gesture. "Thank you," she whispered earnestly before turning to leave, cradling her child protectively in her arms.
As the villagers hurriedly dispersed, seeking refuge from the chaos that had unfolded before them, a palpable sense of awe and fear hung in the air. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen stood in stunned silence, their disbelief palpable as they grappled with the realization of Jiryoku's formidable power, demonstrated with chilling ease in the mere flicker of his gaze.
After every villager had left, Jiryoku turned his gaze towards the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.
"Why involve civilians in this? If I'm not mistaken, in your childhood, your village or city was also subjected to such atrocities," said Jiryoku.
"What are you talking about? We have never suffered from such things; rather, we are the ones who have inflicted suffering upon others," retorted Jugo.
"Shut up. I am not addressing you; I am speaking to the person who reincarnated you," snapped Jiryoku.
Kabuto assumed control over Jugo's body and remarked, "It seems that you are familiar with me."
"Of course, I know you, Kabuto," said Jiryoku.
"In this world, not everything needs to be right. What matters in the end is strength, and you can change wrong to right and right to wrong. So, Jiryoku, please enjoy the fight I've prepared for you," said Kabuto.
"Are you referring to these ants? Are they worthy opponents for me?" said Jiryoku, gesturing towards the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.
Upon hearing this, all the members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen felt deeply humiliated.
Kabuto remained silent, releasing his possession of Jugo's body and departing, leaving the Seven Ninja Swordsmen to face Jiryoku in combat.
