Xue Hanqin!!

Shanghai Airport!

Wang Xiao leaned back, legs crossed, basking in the silence. Outside, the airport swarmed with restless bodies, horns blaring, voices overlapping—a mess he had no intention of stepping into.

He had parked right in front of the airport entrance—illegally, of course. Who cares Instead of moving his ass to find these guests, he sat there, arms folded.

Why was he even here?

Did they not have their own damn cars? A judge. A government official. Surely they weren't short on resources.

He had better things to do.

Just as he debated driving off and ghosting the entire situation, a sharp knock rapped against the window.

Knock! Knock!

His brows twitched. Which bastard had a death wish? He rolled down the window, fully prepared to cuss someone's ancestors—

But then he froze.

Words caught in his throat.

Because the one standing outside?

She was a problem.

Not the headache kind.
