Heaven opened and closed her mouth, eyes stuck to Dominic's gaze. "Are we… going to argue again?" she blurted out under her breath.

"Haha. I don't like arguing with you." Dominic frowned, sliding his arm over the backrest while his other hand reached for her hand. "Let's not fight, Heaven. I'm sorry."

"I'm… sorry too." Her eyes softened as she felt the crippling weight in her heart lift off. She slid closer to him, slipping her arms between his torso and arms to embrace him. "Gosh. Your silent treatment is scary."

A short chuckle slipped past his lips, relaxing his body against the couch so she could hug him comfortably.
