A momentary truce

"My future wife."

Heaven squinted her eyes suspiciously while studying Primo. She wasn't the type to take things at face value, but from the way she saw it, he was being sincere.

"A fiance?" she returned, smirking. "That's surprising. I didn't know love can change someone like you." — but then again, love changed her. A little. 

"Hah." Grandma Zhu laughed. "Love? More like he's delusional. How can you call someone your future wife when she doesn't even know you?"

"Madam Zhu, that's harsh." Primo frowned and sighed, rolling his eyes. "She might not know me yet, but once she does, we'll get married."

"Sounds a little complicated to me." Uninterested in what sort of delusional future Primo had in mind, Heaven let out a short chuckle. "But whatever."
