Confession and Rejection

"Once you're ready, rest assured I'll still be single. So, take your time. No rush. You don't have to chase; I don't run. I'll still be in the same spot where you left me."

Warmth surged in Ivy's heart as her eyes softened at Tiger's remarks. Her smile turned soft as her cheeks turned a little pinkish, understanding the meaning of his words. She appreciated that he didn't leave her confused tonight. It was clear as day that he'd wait, and they could try and see how things progress from there.

"Thank you," she expressed sincerely. "That means a lot to me."

Tiger smiled as he raised his shoulders a bit and tilted his head. "Also, you're lucky you're Heaven's friend. You shouldn't confess to people like that so abruptly. You almost lost your virginity in this car."

The softness in her eyes drastically disappeared as her face turned beet red. Tiger laughed aloud while she glared at him.
