You’re making me happy, Hera.

Hera and Deborah conversed as they waited for the knob to rattle. But alas, an hour had passed since Dragon left, and there was no sign of his return.

"Do you think someone is guarding the door?" Hera inquired, touching her now dry and uncombed hair. "This is strange. He often comes back at the time he gave."

"Something probably happened."

"Like?" Hera turned her head, her eyes landing on Deborah, who was now sitting on the floor, her back still against the closet. "Do you think he found out you infiltrated the mansion?"

"Impossible."

"This is Dragon's Lair."

"It is, but as you always say, I have worked for him for years." Deborah simply cast Hera a quick, nonchalant look. "I've lived in this place long enough to know some way to get in without getting noticed."

"Can't you do that now?"

"Hera, weren't you called the Queen of the Underground in the past?" A frown appeared on Deborah's face. "You're asking the simplest questions."
