Could you blame her?

"How was she? Miss Wei, Tiger. I heard that the two of you are on good terms, so I was wondering how everything is between the two of you."

Tiger chewed his food slowly, gazing up at Dane and noticing the slight curiosity in the latter's eyes. When he swallowed a moment later, he smacked his lips.

"Everything's great," he answered with a slight smile. "She's good, fun, and, you know, the rest."

"I see." Dane nodded in understanding. "Glad to hear you two are doing okay."

"Thanks to you."

"Huh?"

"If not for you, Vivi and I wouldn't have had this chance. I mean, I also didn't like her at first, thinking she was a loose cannon and a little too feeble for me." Tiger shrugged nonchalantly. "But it turns out I really can't judge a book by its cover. Ivy is a wonderful woman. She's real and honest with her feelings. She can be a little fickle at times, but when necessary, she stands her ground."
