A mistake, you say?

"But now, I can read you like an open book and its content is quite… disappointing. You got too close, Mr. Wu."

Leo's breath hitched at Dragon's remarks. His entire body froze, eyes unblinking with his gaze on that demon. Because of his mixed emotions, he forgot to keep his act together. Dragon had keen eyes, and it was the very reason Leo had been given his best act so as not to get caught.

But in the end, he slipped up.

Dragon had no reason to lie to him. Leo probably made it so obvious. Having this realization in mind, Leo surprisingly felt calm. His tensed shoulders relaxed as a small yet genuine smile turned up on his face.

"You got me," Leo humored, chuckling. "You're right, Dragon. I got too close."

Leo leaned back comfortably as he gazed at the plate across from him. "You seemed pretty calm, knowing someone else is harboring feelings for her."
