Meanwhile…

"Ugh…" Ivy grunted as her head throbbed the second she regained consciousness. She held her hand, pushing herself up with her eyes partially shut. "This is killing me."

After a second, memories of before losing her consciousness flooded her mind unannounced. Her mouth fell open as her eyes grew wider. 

'Right,' she thought, breath hitching as she recalled that sinister look on Dane's face. "Right. Dane… no, that man…"

"It's not that man. It's Dimitri."

Ivy flinched when a woman's voice suddenly rang in the room. She looked around, squinting her eyes to see better through the dimness. When her vision adjusted to the dimness, she caught a figure in the dark corner of the room. 

"Who… are you?" she asked, her guard all up. 

The person sitting on the couch in the darkest corner of the room simply stared at Ivy quietly.
