Bellowed into the radio."It's the class that fought villains and came out unscathed, please put your hands together for class 1-A!They come followed by their sister class who haven't really had their chance to shine yet, its class 1-B!

Next up we have the general education department class, is there a dark horse amongst these young individuals?Who knows but give it up for Class 1-C, D, and E.

Next the folks who do their best to be the heroe's hero, the support courses class 1-F, G, and H!

Last but not least here comes the course that markets our young heroes in training, the business courses I, J, and K!Now let's let our roars be heard for our up and coming students!YAYYYYYYYYYYY!Oh, and how could I forget my Co Commenter ERASERHEAD!"

"Stop using your quirk when I'm in the same room." Aizawa could already feel his head throbbing.

"Any favorites' this year Eraserhead?" Though it was more of a rhetorical question since the man doesn't take any favorites'.

"Izuku Midoriya will at least reach the top 8 of the final round, you still do that bet like you do every year because if so I'm in for once." Aizawa dryly responded to the man.

Izuku cringed when he heard his name mentioned and turned to see all his class glaring at him but it was more like an accepting glare than an actually angry one.

"Oh what's this?A student has finally managed to win over our iceking Eraserhead?Deal, if he gets any lower than the top 8 I win.But anyway folks let's give it up for our umpire Midnight!" Present mic had slightly dropped his tone to spare his co commentator.

"As the student who ranked in first place during the Yuuei Entrance Exam, Bakugou Katsuki is the representative of all the First Years!Please walk up to the stage and give your speech!" Midnight said blowing a kiss out to the crowd.

The entirety of Class 1-A face palmed as they knew exactly what was going to happen.

"Sensei... I'm going to win." Bakugo stated as if it were a fact.

The entire crowd plus the other classes started booing.He heard some kid from behind him shout about the superiority of class 1-B but the thing that was weird was the voice he recognized it.Oh it's just Monoma again, he didn't say anything at that time with Bakugo so maybe he forgot about him?Izuku prayed that was at least the case but they were in the same homeroom for over a year so that'd be unlikely.

"SHUT UP!I WASN'T FINISHED YOU EXTRAS.Now as I was saying, I'm going to win the first round and the second round and when it finally comes to the tournament.DEKU I'M GOING TO BEAT YOUR ASS SO BADLY YOU WON'T EVER BE ABLE TO FORGET IT.YOU HEAR ME?" Bakugo roared that last part before pointing at Izuku's mop of green and to his chagrin every person around him stepped to the side.

Midoriya cringed even more, why was everyone singling him out of every competitor.He could feel the gaze of every person in the arena on him, it has been made abundantly clear they need to watch out for Izuku and he hated it.Is this how All Might feels?

Bakugo just dropped the mic before walking off the stage.

Midnight did her best to bring order to the chaos that was everyone booing in the stands."Well it seems like our competitors are fired up today!Let's waste no time and start the competition.Everybody if you could direct your eyes to the screen we will soon see what the first challenge of the day will be." The wheel spun for around 10 seconds before it finally stopped on obstacle course."It seems the first thing all of you youngsters will have to triumph over is the U.A. High Obstacle Course!One of our fan favourites!Now everyone get into position at the gate, we'll be starting in five minutes."

Izuku walked over and grabbed Momo by the shoulder." Wanna work together on this?If we do we should be able to win this pretty easily, I'll even let you have first." Izuku gave her a thumbs up.

Momo mulled it over briefly before responding."That seems like a good idea Izu, what do you have planned?"

Izuku mulled it over for a second."Surprisingly I think Kirishima is actually the most likely to win this, quick step is really good at this kind of thing.So we either need to outspeed near teleportation or find a way to shut him down early.We could just go with the wing glider plan but I want to save that for later.Do you have any ideas?"

Momo paused thinking about it, there wasn't much they could do since actually attacking Kirishima was outright illegal and it would be very hard for them to lock him down." I think our best bet is to just ignore him, it's not like were allowed to do anything to him in this scenario, we just have to hope he isn't good enough with it yet and go as fast as we can." Momo shrugged."As for us I'll make a 2 seater bike and we'll combine your super strength, Jetstream and my One for All 8% and we'll charge through this course.If there are any places where the bike won't work we can just pick it up and carry it for a bit."

"Good enough plan for me, I have a feeling Todoroki's going to try and freeze everyone at the start.So I'm going to throw you over while you focus on the bike, once we get ahead keeping ahead should be easy enough." Izuku was about 85 percent certain he knew exactly what the Ice teen was going to do.

They had been lucky and managed to snag a spot close to the front, not at the front but close enough, it was then that the countdown started.

"GO!" roared from the mic.

"So what's going to be a crucial point Eraser?" Mic asked his cocommenter.

"Right here." Aizawa responded his voice flat as ever.

Izuku grabbed Momo and threw her forward with as much strength as he could muster before Jetstreaming after her.Momo was meanwhile busy trying to create the bike as fast as she could.They had already passed Todoroki at this point as he had to stop momentarily to freeze everyone else.The heterochromatic teen's head swiveled as they flew by, Izuku could already see the shock forming on it."He's going to try and catch up with us or throw Ice at us.How much longer for that bike?"

Momo responded while not trying to break her focus."You know larger things take me longer, give me like 5 seconds." They both kept running while Izuku turned to see the Heterochromatic boy surfing on his ice in order to speed up.

"The power duo Izuku Midoriya and Yaoyorozu Momo take an early lead, Todoroki is in hot pursuit however or is that an icy pursuit?" Mic chuckled into the mic.

"It seems the two of them have decided to team up as opposed to working against each other.It's an interesting strategy." Aizawa chimed in.

Momo finally finished her creation having been smart enough to open her blouse before trying to make something that large, she didn't need a wardrobe malfunction on live television."Alright Izuku it's ready get on." She wasted no time getting on and pedaling while Izuku jumped onto the back seat.As soon as they had a semblance of balance Izuku put Jetstream into overdrive while pedaling as hard as he could greatly accelerating their speed when combined with Momos pedaling with One for All.

"Is that a two seater bike?Seems you were right on the mark Eraser, they ARE working together.It seems Midoriya is using his quirk Jetstream to propel them while Yaoyorozu is using her own quirk to peddle as fast as she can.What is her quirk anyway?" Mic posed the question to Aizawa.

"Her quirk is called Indra, she generates black lightning that can be used to create inorganic objects although she needs to know its chemical makeup, she can also use it to increase her bodies strength.It's an incredibly versatile quirk as you can see." Aizawa explained mechanically as he glanced at the sheet in front of him.

Izuku turned back to see the distance between Todoroki of them growing quickly, his surfing was nowhere near the speed they were going.He was about to turn back around but barely caught Kirishima using quick step to quickly pass the other teen out of the corner of his eye."Kirishima's coming!I knew he was going to be a problem, Momo can you make something to block his view?If he can't see the location he can't teleport there.Actually just drop glue behind us if his feet can't move the quirk won't work!"

Momo complied but trying to focus on three things at once was really getting to her.Driving this bike, keeping up OFA, and trying to create something was incredibly taxing on her mind."Got it, I'm going to start dropping glue bombs as we go." But it was at this point that they noticed what was in front of them."Are those the zero pointers the others mentioned?!They're gigantic!"

"It's fine Momo, just power through, they're probably too slow to stop us." Izuku at least hoped they were as he had never fought the mechanical beasts himself but something of that size should be quick slow in comparison.

"The power couple makes it to the first obstacle, ROBO INFERNO.Let's see how they tackle this." Mic announced to the roaring crowd.

"They're just going to go straight through it, they've hit around 60 miles per hour at this point, I don't see the robots even posing a slight problem for them." Aizawa added to Mics commentary.

True to Aizawa's word the slow and clunky robots posed no threat as they zoomed by."It looks like Kirishima got hit by the glue, good job Momo.I'm trying to keep track of them with Zoom but we're so far ahead at this point I think we got this." Izuku immediately regretted his words as he saw what was before them.A massive pit.

"They're so far ahead they aren't even worried about the competition!They've already reached the second obstacle and in record time!It's the FALL.How will the bike combo pass this?" mic said trying to rile up the crowd.

"With the power of Midoriya's quirk and the near infinite uses of Yaoyorozu's quirk I can see several ways they could pass this obstacle easily." Aizawa answered, always the straight man.

"Hey Izuku were abandoning the bike for a bit.I'm going to wingsuit over, can you bring the bike?" Momo shouted back to her co rider.

"Yeah I got it Momo just go, I'll see you on the other side." Izuku shot back.

Momo charged up 12% before launching herself into the sky gliding over the pit crossing it in 2 jumps.

Izuku meanwhile grabbed the bike and launched himself from pillar to pillar it took him nearly 3 times as long because of the additional weight but they both Izuku knew should be the one to do this due to his super strength and Jetstream.

"The bike combo separates in order to breezeover the pit.Pun intended, is there any hope of somebody catching up?" Mic said.

"I was expecting this outcome if I'm being honest I knew both of their quirks were heavily favored in this event." Aizawa paused as he looked at the track."I stand corrected look who's catching up." Aizawa said changing the camera to Kirishima.

Kirishima was absolutely gassed, he had been overusing his new quirk to much and he was already about to vomit.How far ahead were they?he was on his 5th successive jump before he stepped across the pit in one go.It was at that moment that his nausea caught up to him and he blew chunks all over the floor.Coughing and gagging as his insides felt all twisted up.

"It seems the runner up to the duo has hit quirk overuse and began vomiting profusely.If you want to eat lunch later I'd recommend looking away folks." Mic said jovially.

Well that was lucky Izuku thought, they managed to push him to his limit.The pair had since recovered and gotten back onto the bike with Momo before blasting off down the rest of the course, he took one last glance at Kirishima before they went though.Hopefully the boy wasn't in too much pain.

"Nothing seems to be even close to slightly impeding these two powerhouses of class 1-A.It seems like Midoriya is your favorite is for a good reason Eraser.But how will they handle the final obstacle?THE MINEFIELD!" Mic said taunting the man.

Aizawa sneered, the kid saved his life he may as well cheer for him."It was logical given the events in question and his quirk."

Present Mic chimed back in again."And what pray tell is his quirk for our audience."

Aizawa lifted up the document in front of him."His quirk Jetstream allows him to shoot highly pressurized air blasts from his palms, they're quite strong, capable of reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour."

Izuku was a little annoyed their quirks were being revealed like this but oh well, they needed to captivate the audience and wait, what was that about a minefield?Well Izuku didn't think this quirk would be getting used today but here they are."Momo don't stop!I have EMP activated they shouldn't explode as long as I'm near them!"

Dauntless as ever they drove straight into the minefield not even slightly slowing down, thankfully it seemed Izuku was correct in his assumption, the mines were electronic and nature.On top of that EMP wasn't a quirk you could see but rather one you could feel, though the staticy feeling was as weird as usual.

"What is this?The mines aren't even detonating?How could they possibly be getting around this?" Mic was incredulous.

Aizawa face palmed knowing exactly why they weren't going off, stupid Problem Child."Yaoyorozu can even produce electronics with her quirk, it's possible she created an EMP generator or something similar to prevent the devices from exploding.One day she created a GPS tracker in my class as an example."

"Well with no competition anywhere near them it seems we have our winners of the first event and here they come now.Yaoyorozu Momo Finishes in 1st place, Izuku Midoriya places in 2nd!Now let's cut back to the rest of the pack." Mic changed the screen so it showed Kirishima who was finally starting to stand back up.

Kirishima had finally recovered from his first nauseous bout only to have quick stepped over the Minefield and immediately began vomiting again.In his moment of pain he overheard the intercom.'Wait a minute, Midoriya and Yaoyorozu already finished?' Meanwhile the same thought occurred to both Bakugo and Todoroki.

Bakugo cursed under his breath, fucking Deku teamed up his girlfriend to win this shit years ago and he's still at the second fucking obstacle.How fucking fast were they going?Not to mention all this glue shit they were dropping everywhere was seriously starting to get annoying."GOD DAMN IT DEKU, I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!"

Todoroki wished he didn't have to deal with Bakugo's screaming but at the same time he couldn't believe that Midoriya and Yaoyorozu had already finished.Todoroki saw how fast they were going on that bike and knew he wouldn't be able to keep up but this was ridiculous.

Mic's comment on the people who had already finished had spurred Kirishima to begin hobbling towards the goal "Our poor red haired boy continues to push through the pain but Bakugo and Todoroki are beginning to catch up!.

Kirishima turned around to see both Todoroki and Bakugo had reached the beginning minefield.He could see the finish line from where he was which meant he could ... 'Oh well time to be manly.' He quick stepped one more time flashing past the finish line before hobbling over and vomiting bile as everything else had long since been evacuated from his body.

"Kirishima Ejiro gives himself one final push to rocket across the finish line taking 3rd for himself!Let's give it up for our red haired macho man!That being said I thought his quirk simply hardened his body Eraser?" Mic said grilling the man for answers.

"Kirishima is a dual type quirk user like Todoroki, he can jump long distances or harden his body." Aizawa sighed wondering how they convinced the principal to go along with this farce.

"Speaking of Todoroki here he comes taking 4th for himself and Bakugo Katsuki explodes into 5th place."

Fifth?Fucking fifth?!Bakugo Katsuki does not get fifth place, fucking Deku needs to stop giving these extras more quirks.

A similar thought passed Todoroki, he knew his quirk wasn't suited for a race because of the quirk assessment test but he hadn't even seen 1-3rd place since the first obstacle.Midoriya was being really troublesome by handing out quirks, maybe he should ask for one?Then again Midoriya also said he couldn't handle a second one, that caused Todoroki's shoulders to sag a bit.

Izuku was sitting next to Momo waiting for everybody else to file in."Well we did it, wanna team up for the next one too?The sports festival usually has some kind of team event for the 2nd event."

Momo nodded along."Of course you would know that you hero nerd but sure." She flashed him a bright smile.

Meanwhile Bakugo was watching this exchange with disgust he wanted to vomit, fucking romantic dweebs.

In a seedy bar in the bad part of town.

"Sensei I don't want to watch these hero rejects compete in this stupid event." Shigaraki spoke to the monitor that displayed the text 'audio only.'

"Now now Tomura, this is important, you need to learn more about your future enemies.Not to mention we've uncovered something interesting.That boy with my quirk is handing them out to the other heroes, that red haired one Kirishima I believe.Has no records of ever having had such a quirk.The boy is quickly becoming a problem, especially if he keeps loading up the heroes with more quirks.Also.It seems he no longer possesses your quirk.I wonder what he did with it?" The man chuckled.

"Sensei I want to kill him, I want to kill him so bad." Shiggy reached for a glass to disintegrate it, only for no such thing to occur.So instead he took the glass and slammed into the floor shattering it to pieces.

Kurogiri sighed at his ward's temper tantrum before going and retrieving a broom and dust pan.

"You will in time my pupil.You will.For now we must be patient and build up our strength again before we attempt any such action against the boy.His actions cannot be tolerated any further but if we act in haste we will fail.I am loathe to admit it but the boy might even give me trouble.After all we have no idea how many quirks he is in possession of and if All Might has been grooming the boy like we suspect he has the boy must be in possession of many strong quirks."

Shigaraki was startled when he heard that."Yes, Sensei I will be patient."

"Good, good, now let's continue on with learning about our targets." The man added before both returned their attention to the screen.

Everyone had finally crossed the finish line so Midnight moved on to announce the next event.

"Alright time to announce who survived to the next round, congratulations to the top 42 runners of our race.If you fell below that I'm sorry but your out, please report to your classes viewing stands." Midnight announced, whipping the floor as she said that.'Why is she a teacher her again?' Izuku briefly thought to himself.

It took a few minutes but everyone that was supposed to left the arena.

"Alright now that the top 42 contestants are the only ones remaining, I'll announce the next event.Get ready for theeeeeeeeeee ... CAVALRY BATTLEEEEEEEEEEEE!But theres a twist, each of you 42 will be given a score based on what you placed in the previous event.The leader of each team will then be given a headband that is worth the combined total of your teams scores.At the end of 15 minutes the groups with the highest scores will advance onto the next round.Starting at 5 points for the person in 42nd place and increasing by 5 points for every rank above that.However, there is one exception.First place is worth ... TEN MILLION POINTS." Midnight snapped her whip again.

Momo felt all eyes turn to her, including Izuku's."I should've let you get first Izuku." She said as a nervous sweat begin to form on her face.

Midnight continued speaking after her dramatic pause."With that said you have 15 minutes to form teams of 2-4 people.Good luck!"

Izuku turned to Momo and spoke "Well that's a thing that might as well happen, although I do have a plan.Let's just be a team of 2 people it'll make us more mobile and we're gonna need it if were playing keep away for the whole match.Although I do have one other idea you might like if you don't want to do that.

Momo felt like she had been sucker punched after realizing everyone would be after her."Well I think avoiding people for 15 straight minutes will be difficult unless we go with the hang glider plan, and even then thats not foolproof.Though we'd be mostly safe with that since you can hold your quirk for around 30 minutes currently, correct Izuku?"

"Yeah but I'm more worried about other peoples quir-

Their brainstorming session was rudely interrupted when Mei barged over."Material girl, Izuku team up with me." She threw her thumb out and pointed to herself.

"Eh sorry Mei, we're going as a group of 2, besides it'll be boring watching us.I'd recommend going and teaming up with Bakugo or Todoroki otherwise you won't get any exposure."

The invention girl deflated after hearing that but ultimately accepted."Good luck you two."

"Alright so since we don't have enough room to fly safely without going over the borders let's go with my 2nd plan.Alright so here's what we're gonna do."

Roughly 15 minutes after Midnight announced the ending of the planning phase.

Bakugo noticed the nerds were teamed up again, god this stupid power couple bullshit was really getting on his nerves, plus he wouldn't admit it but they were a problem when put on the same team.His own team being that support extra, shitty hair, and alien girl.Bakugo scoffed when pink dreads walked over here asking to be on his team but after he saw a couple of her inventions he had to admit she'd be pretty useful to have.He was driven out of his thoughts by the sound of the announcer.Fuck!He was better than getting distracted.

READY START!

"Well isn't this a sight, the power duo of the first round are together again and only as a two man team and it seems Yaoyorozu has strapped herself to Midoriya with a harness?I guess this way it's impossible for Yaoyorozu to fall off unless Midoriya himself falls over but I have to admit it doesn't look very heroic ... or good.I wonder what their plan for this round is Eraser." Mic asked his friend.

"They seem to want to play keep away and this way maximizes their mobility, after all they just need to run away to win this round." Though Aizawa was immediately proven wrong in his conjecture.

"You ready Momo?" Izuku asked his rider.

"Yeah we got this Izuku." She flashed him a smile and with that Izuku charged straight into Bakugo.

Momo pulled off her head band and immediately thrust it into Bakugo's hands."Here!Consider it a gift!" She yelled towards Bakugo while running past them.

"What the fuck!COME BACK HERE!I'M EARNING THIS SHIT FAIR AND SQUARE I DON'T NEED YOUR FUCKING HANDOUTS!" Bakugo screamed at the fleeing couple before noticing all eyes had switched to him.

Mina quickly screamed up from beneath the explosive teen."Who cares how we got it, we gotta focus on keeping it now!" She followed this by throwing viscous acid out as a shield to defend from the tape she saw Sero shooting at them.

"She's right Bakubro, let's do it man!" Kirishima added.

"FUCK!I DON'T NEED YOU TWO TO TELL ME THAT!GRRRRRRRAAAAHHH FUCK, ALRIGHT WE STICK TO OUR ORIGINAL PLAN!" Bakugo screamed before unleashing a smoke screen in front of him.

"What was that?They just ... gave up the Ten Million Points?!What a surprising move from Team Yaoyorozu." Present Mic definitely hadn't seen that one before.

"It's not a bad plan actually, now no one will be targeting them and they're free to target other groups.It seems they don't want first place, just the ability to move on." Why can Aizawa never predict what that stupid problem child is about to do, he sighed for like the 40th time this day alone.

Izuku immediately ran to the outer ring looking around trying to absorb the chaos before him in, Momo was set facing backwards on the harness so she could watch their back, she trusted Izuku to move them where they needed to go.Izuku spotted his first target a group of people from 1-B who were aggressively attacking Bakugo's team Izuku ran by using Silencer and Jetstream to launch himself past them while using Tempo to make sure he could grab the headband accurately.It reminded him of his battle with Shigaraki if he was being honest, a game of tag, though one with much less consequences.He took the now stolen headband and passed it onto Momo."One down like 6 to go, you good up there?"

"Yeah I'm just making sure no one gets close, it's a good thing I asked about tranquilizers and they ended up being legal since Kaminari would basically be quirkless in here if he couldn't electrocute people to stun them." Momo shouted back down to her horse.She took aim and started picking off Riders left and right, she was using a relatively weak version of her formula but with this she could make it easier for Izuku to grab headbands as they flew by.

"Is team Yaoyorozu tranquilizing people?!Is that even allowed Eraserhead!?" Mic was starting to see why Aizawa had such faith in his students as he watched them tear through the competition grabbing headbands left and right.The combination of Midoriya's mobility and Yaoyorozu's tranquilizer was insane to watch.

"Yes they are but even I must say I wasn't expecting this tactic.The speed they have from only having 2 members is giving them a large guerilla style attack advantage, most of the Teams don't even seem to be aware they're missing a headband because they are all too focused on the Ten Million Points ... or their rider is unconscious." The camera then cut to one such unfortunate individual who limply hanging as his mules tried to keep him from falling off.Aizawa then looked at the scoreboard and noticed almost half of 1-A was down in the dumps point wise.With the exception of Yaoyorozu's, Bakugo's and Todoroki's team, about what he expected honestly.

The one sided pillaging continued for a good ten minutes and the riders finally began to start waking up.Drowsy and confused as to where their points were only for their horses to explain the situation to them.

Momo immediately realized she made her formula too weak and started to worry, in her efforts to make sure she didn't have to worry about anyone overdosing they weren't staying out of it long enough."They may start to come for us Izuku, I don't think they'll be too happy that I used a sedative on them."

Izuku looked around and had to agree with the girl's assessment."Alright Momo that's enough were in 2nd place, people are going to start hunting us now.Let's just kick it back over here by the edge and wait this out.If anyone starts coming towards us you know what to do." He said to the person riding on his back.

"Sounds good to me Izu and there's no way enough people will get the points necessary to drop out of the top 4 places anyway." Momo shifted, getting up and rearranging herself to see forward so that she could snipe anyone who came for them.

They lasted another 2 minutes this way but then at minute 12 it started.They had finally been noticed by the people who had woken up and just like Momo had correctly asserted none were too happy about they had done.The first to start charging them was Monoma and his team of Tsunotori, Itsuka, and Bondo."Ah you 1-A rejects, I have come to repay you for the gracious gift you gave me earlier."

Izuku and Momo both spotted the object he was holding was one of Momo's tranq darts.

"To think UA'd allow such tomfooler-" Monoma slumped over again causing his team to have to panic and ensure the boy did not touch the floor.

His team then just looked at Momo incredulously."Really?Again?" Itsuka was the first to talk.

Momo just shrugged."He was the one pulling a monologue.Anyway I see a large number of teams coming this way so we'll be on our way now."

Izuku just gave them a wave as he watched them struggle to keep Monoma from falling, the greenette started laughing as he dashed off carrying Momo."I love you by the way."

Momo was about to respond to Izuku but then noticed an attack from Bondo."Izuku behind us!"

Izuku then noticed the large amount of glue flying towards them, clearly revenge from Bondo for knocking out Monoma again.Izuku turned slightly and blasted the glue back at the person who fired it with Jetstream.

A satisfying yelp followed by irate screaming was all Izuku could hear as he kept running.

This left team Monoma with an unconscious leader and the rest covered in Bondo's glue.Bondo saw the rage on Itsuka's face and paled a bit."Sorry."

"I'm going to kill them, I'm actually going to murder them." Itsuka could feel her veins popping out.

Poor Tsunotori was just crying.

"That should slow down the others as well, in fact Momo start making glue bombs and throwing them around us as well."

The girl nodded from above him and started throwing glue everywhere as they backed themselves into a corner opposite from the first one they were hiding at.From their new vantage point they could see the rest of the teams duking it out with no risk of someone sneaking up on them.Over the next minute there were a few close calls but after seeing what happened to the people who got too close to Momo many of the other teams simply chose to hunt other prey.The combination of Momo throwing glue everywhere and Izuku's ability to deflect any projectiles that tried to reach them with Jetstream made them think they were in the clear, especially since there was only one minute left.

That was until Todoroki finally took notice of them.Izuku locked eyes with Todoroki and immediately the heterochromatic teen started making his way with his team of Iida, Kaminari, and Jirou.

"Momo!" The boy quickly shouted to get her attention."It's Todoroki!We can't let him get close, shoot him!" Momo responded by unloading into Todoroki who merely used his fireside to melt the rounds enroute.She didn't have enough time to create fire retardant rounds before a glacier was dropped on them and Izuku seeing what was coming took this moment to dash as fast as he could to the right using the small exit Momo had left in the glue for them, hopefully evading the incoming iceberg.

Without fire or decay the greenette couldn't just stop the ice wave like normal and he was NOT pulling out another quirk here.However the extra weight Momo was adding to him slowed him down just enough for Todoroki to connect.Izuku's left leg was unfortunately caught by the edge of the attack, well as long as didn't fall over he was fine.He managed to rip his leg from the glacier just in time to avoid a second.Space was quickly becoming an issue here though, at least they only had to last 30 more seconds.

"Momo just keep firing it'll trip him up." Izuku was shouting desperately at this point.

Izuku leaped over the next batch of ice thrown at him, using Todoroki's previous attack to get the necessary height.But they just kept coming as clearly the boy was using his fire side to keep him from getting hypothermia.If that wasn't bad enough Jirou kept trying to steal their handbands with her jacks.Desperate at this point Momo started using 15% flicks to divert them away from the two.

"Mo anything you can make here that'd help?!We only need to last a bit longer!" Izuku was frantically diving beneath another wave of ice using Jetstream to kind of slow it down but not by much.They glue they had made earlier was definitely hurting them now since Todoroki's team didn't need to move to win this battle while they did.

"G-got it Izu." Momo whipped another gun and fired it at Todoroki who understandably tried to use his fire to destroy it however the net continued unphased by the heat.She giddly watched her creation manage to entangle her foes before speaking."Fire retardent net gun."

"Good job, let's get out of here befor-" Izuku was cut off as Jirou started blasting them with her quirk.

"Sorry Yaomomo, not gonna make it that easy for you.Now Todoroki!"

The boy took no time firing his next ice wave which connected freezing most of Izuku's body making him unable to move despite his attempts to the contrary.

"Midoriya I can't allow you to proceed to the next round you're too dangerous.Forgive me for th-." The boy slumped over, a dart in his neck.

"Thank god Momo holy shit that was close." Of course their short celebration was ruined via an explosive teen who'd managed to lose his team charging them, thankfully right before he made contact the event ended and they successfully kept all their points.Which caused their assailant to angrily groan from his position on the floor.

"Absolutely now let's get you out of there before you freeze okay?" Added giggling a bit as she proceeded to break the ice with a combination of One for All and a hammer she made.

Once free Izuku pointed to the board, Momo quickly looked before proceeding to hug him."We did it."

"Yeah we did."

Team Bakugo -1st Place

Team Yaoyorozu - 2nd Place

Team Todoroki - 3rd Place

Team Shinsou - 4th Place

Wait where did Shinsou come from he was nowhere the top of the board the last time he'd checked eh it doesn't matter."We did it Momo!"

Bakugo was forced to watch the two hug despite winning he felt like he'd lost somehow.The fuckers weren't even trying for first place, hell they were in an entirely different game from him.The thought irritated him so he got up and left.

"What an explosive round everybody.Let's put our hands together for all the competitors, and don't worry if you didn't pass we have events for all the competitors to do while we construct the arena for the final event.Oh, a word from umpire, it seems because only 14 people passed 2 members of Team Monoma will advance to the final round as well.Please pick two of your members to put forward.With that we're taking an hour long lunch break, we'll be back in no time flat audience!" Mic sighed glad he could drop the persona for a bit.

Aizawa was grinning beneath his bandages."Worried yet?"

Mic faux cringed."You really like that Midoriya kid, I'm kind of surprised you've never been like towards any of your students before."

"I can see his potential plus you know the whole saved my life thing.I'll never say it his face but I like the little shit." Aizawa smirked.

"What universe are we in where Aizawa Shouta develops a soft spot.Either way he still has to win one more round before he gets into the top 10 but i'll be honest he's likely to win it." Mic sighed realizing his wallet was likely to get smaller in the future.

Izuku checked his phone on the way to the cafeteria, it seems he, Momo, Todoroki, and Bakugo were the favorites to win the whole thing."You seen the news?People think your gonna win.Nervous yet?"

Momo just sighed "Please don't I'm already a wreck, I don't need you making it worse." They were stopped by the sight of Endeavour in the hallway.

"Ah yes I have been looking for you, you'll be the perfect test for my Shouto, he's finally accepted himself and is using his fire.You with the super strength and creation ability are like All Might you will be a suitable step on Shouto's path to becoming the number 1." Momo didn't know why but her boyfriend was leveling the father of Todoroki with a glare she's never seen from him before.Before she could say anything Izuku just grabbed her hand and walked off pulling her with him.

"Don't ignore me boy!Respect your elders!" Endeavour spat at them as they left.

Izuku turned to look at the man with a look of sheer hatred."Never come near me or this girl ever again if you know what's good for you you flaming pile of garbage.I know what you've done, the principal knows too, it won't be long till all comes crashing down number 2." Izuku spat back at the man, now Momo was really confused what had Endeavour done?She saw the startled face of the number 2 but she let herself get pulled by Izuku.

"Soooooo what was that all about Izuku?" Momo was very worried at this point she'd only ever seen him act like that around Bakugo.

"He's a bad person I don't want to say but since it seems he'll be concerning himself with us, he's abused the entirety of the Todoroki family.He drove his wife insane, caused the death of one of his sons, neglected the others and beat Todoroki calling it training.That man is a pile of feces!" Izuku slammed his fist into the wall causing small cracks to appear."Sorry Momo he just reminds me of my father and I hate my father."

She remembered when Izuku had shown up at the beach suddenly having gained the ability to breathe fire and telling her it was his father's quirk.He never did elaborate on that but if this was anything to go by he didn't need to.She pulled him into a hug telling him it'd be alright."Let's just go get lunch okay Izu?It'll give us some time to relax."

Izuku merely nodded before giving her a peck on her cheek.

They were being watched however by a girl with gravity defying powers.She saw the kiss and something in her broke, she ran away crying.'Why couldn't it have been her?'

Dekusquad as they were now being called had arrived at the lunch table minus their gravity user.That being said between Momo, Kirishima, Tsuyu, Iida, and Izuku, none of them knew where she went and it was slightly concerning to them as she was likely to be starving at this point.

"I'm sure something just called her away, she'll be back soon enough." The spiky red haired teen said trying to alleviate the group.

Izuku just shrugged."You're probably right, good job by the way, your skill with quick step has seriously improved, you got 3rd in the race and then got first place in the second round."

Now it was Karishma's turn to shrug."Honestly I wanted to join up with you and Yaomomo but then I noticed you two rejecting everyone, which was a super manly idea by the way.After that I just went along with Bakugo because he seemed like the strongest option left."

"Kero, I just found it funny you shoved the Ten Million points in Bakugo's face before running off.I can honestly say I didn't see that coming." The frog girl added.

"Yes, it was great tactical insight demonstrated by both of our class presidents, I must commend you two.Even we of team Todoroki had been fooled by that strategy and instead of removing you from the tournament like we should have, we went after the Ten Million points.You two even managed to pass us and achieve 2nd place." The engine user stated with a small sadness in his eyes.

Izuku and were both blushing a bit from the praise at this point but Midoriya answered first."Honestly we had another plan of taking to the skies with a hang glider and just flying in circles for 15 minutes but we weren't sure how the aerial rules worked and we didn't want to accidentally get disqualified.Plus I thought it would be really funny to piss off Bakugo.It's a shame I couldn't see it, tell me Momo.how did it look."

"It was hilarious, he was fuming with rage when I dropped the headband into his lap but... " Momo then put a finger on her lip as she paused in thought."Although I can't say I didn't want to win every single event." She wistfully added.

"Oh I'm sorry Momo, I didn't know you wanted to do that or I would've come up with a different strategy." Izuku felt bad that he didn't realize his girlfriend wanted to win everything, Izuku guessed she wanted to impress All Might who had done the same thing during his time at U.A.

"No it's fine Izuku, we'll have two more chances when we are 2nd and 3rd years anyway so I'm none too concerned with the outcome.Plus, we're still both favorites to win the tournament aren't we?" She visibly brightened and smiled at the greenette when she said that.

It was at that moment Uraraka returned from wherever she had been.'Her face looked kind of puffy, had she been crying?' Izuku thought.For once he hoped Tsuyu would hold her tongue."Hey we saved you a seat Uraraka, and the lines should be pretty short by now."

The gravity girl just looked up before weakly replying. " ... Thanks Deku, yeah I need to refill before the final round so I guess I'll go get a bite."

Noticing the sadness on the girls face he decided to try and make her feel a bit better."Oh yeah, congrats on making it to the tournament round by the way, it was a good idea teaming up with Shinsou but why did you guys team up with 1-B for that event?" Izuku had been very confused by the composition of team Shinsou which consisted of the girl with vine like hair from 1-B, someone with scales for arms from 1-B, and Uraraka.

"Oh we didn't actually do anything, Shinsou brainwashed me and then the 1-B guys.I don't even remember what happened during the whole round if I'm being honest." Uraraka paused as she looked down."I couldn't even win on my own." The girls expression only darkened further.

"Uraraka!This was a team effort and you won by combining the strength of Shinsou Hitoshi with your own, do not count yourself short.I think you did very well even if you cannot remember it you were making Shinsou weightless which allowed your team greater mobility." Iida said while chopping his hands.

"Yeah Uraraka Kero, you were amazing." Tsuyu added.

The pep talk from the table did raise her spirits a bit."Aww shucks guys, thanks, alright I'm going to go get food!"

Immediately after she left though, a person's hand was put on Izuku's shoulder, he turned around to see Bakugo glaring at him with a strange expression."I want to talk to you Deku, in private."

Izuku stood shrugging."Sure, what's up?"

Bakugo just stomped off before gesturing with his head for Izuku to follow, which he did."I'll be back in a bit guys.

Momo watched as the two walked away before deciding that maybe she should follow them to see what was going on.She wasn't about to leave her boyfriend alone with his abuser, not when she could help it.

The rest of the table watched in silence as the ravenette followed after the other two.

Iida was the first to speak."Should we be concerned?"

Asui put her finger on her head."Maybe?"

"Well Yaomomo will keep it from escalating if something does happen." Kirishima said before shrugging and digging into his food.

"I suppose so." Iida thought out loud.

They reached an abandoned hallway decently far from the cafeteria before Bakugo finally turned with small sparks coming from his hand and spoke."GOD, FUCK, DAMN IT, SHIT!I can't put this shit into words!DEKU ARE YOU FUCKING LOOKING DOWN AT ME?!"

Izuku was confused to say the least."Huh?Is this about the Ten Million Points?"

"OF COURSE YOU FUCKING NERD!Why the fuck did you give me that?I wanted to EARN IT not get it giving to me like I'm some kind of charity case."

"Bakugo that wasn't pity, that was a tactical decision.I have no intention of being the next number 1, as such I have no reason to show off.My quirk isn't suited for someone with a public face, I plan on going underground like Aizawa did." Izuku thought Bakugo would've realized this by now.

That made Bakugo pause in shock, the only person with a quirk stronger than him didn't even want to be the number 1?How the fuck was he going to prove himself the strongest if the strongest fighter wouldn't publicly show themselves, that's not a real victory."DAMMIT DEKU, I ADMIT IT OKAY, YOUR STRONG!I can't ever see myself beating you, even with this second quirk that I only have because of YOU!How am I supposed to sleep at night knowing I can't be the real number 1?" Bakugo barely even noticed the tears entering his eyes as his rant continued.

For the first time in a very long time, Izuku looked at Bakugo, really looked at him.Bakugo Katsuki ... had an inferiority complex.When Izuku thought about all the times his bully beat him because the greenette was weak, or when the teen literally seared a hand shaped mark onto his chest with his quirk.It made everything click into place.The other teen was afraid because he didn't think he was good enough."Bakugo I don't k-

"Shut up Deku!I'm not done talking.All Might is on you and that stupid girlfriends of yours side isn't he?Don't think I haven't noticed the secret meetings you two go to with him.What am I doing wrong?Is my ideal of the strongest hero wrong?TELL ME DEKU, AM I THE PERSON IN THE WRONG HERE!?"

Izuku was in shock, he'd never seen Bakugo like this before.He wasn't even sure how he should begin to answer the other teen, but he had an idea. " ... I don't know Bakugo, I really don't.I won't try and say something that'll make you feel better because I know you'd hate that.But I can at least say power isn't everything you need to be a hero.Bakugo, do you want to hear a story?It relates to my quirk."

Izuku took the silence for confirmation, well near silence as the other teen was holding back tears at this point.

"My quirk All for One, I'm not the first person to have this quirk.There exists a great evil that like you that only ever strove for power.He used the same quirk I possess to take and take, he never stopped.He just wanted more which is where the name of the quirk came from, All quirks for one person, all the power for one person, all you could ever want.You're right it's a villains quirk, that man was the ultimate evil, the world's first supervillain.His reign of terror has continued for over 200 years.That man could've been the world's greatest hero but he only ever took for himself."

Izuku paused a second before continuing."Bakugo you are similar to him, you want power, you want to dominate others to prove that your the best.Tell me if you wanted to get stronger, what would be your stopping point?Where is the line you draw before you say, 'no I won't do this'.That man had no line, he did everything, he took whatever he wanted." Izuku then lifted his shirt and showed the other boy the hand shaped scar on his chest, which caused the other boys eyes to widen immediately."You did this to me, you who wants to be a hero literally burned their mark onto me, a defenseless child, just because you could.In my eyes you are the furthest thing from a hero that exists, I'll be honest I want nothing to do with you and I feel sorry for the people you'll 'save' in the future.Think about what kind of person you want to be before you decide what kind of hero you want to be." Izuku spat before walking off, leaving a distraught Bakugo behind him.

Bakugo watched the nerd go before taking a second to look at his hand.He'd done that, he'd permanently marked a person who wasn't even a criminal, what did that say about him?Bakugo shook his head, no, the fucking nerd deserved it for trying to look down on him.

Izuku paused before a corner and giggled a bit."Momo, I know you followed me.I can see through walls remember?"

Momo let out an eep before walking around said corner."I'm sorry and I'll apologize later but I'm going to kill him first."

Izuku saw the fierce determination in her eyes and let out a sigh."Momo, please, can we just not?He's not worth it."

"Izu, he burned his hand into your flesh.The beating I'm about to give him is absolutely worth it." Momo stated before attempting to walk past her boyfriend who then caught her wrist.

"Please?I just want to go relax with our friends, you can beat him up for me later." Izuku silently begged the girl.

Yaoyorozu noticed the sad look in his eyes and relented."Okay ... but I'm definitely getting revenge later."

"Thank you." Izuku just rested his head against her shoulder as they walked back.

Izuku and dekusquad walked up to the viewing section reserved for 1-A after lunch, they only had to wait for another 10 minutes before Cementoss built an entire arena in the middle of the colosseum.Once that had been finished Midnight walked back out with mic in hand to announce the next round.

"Ladies and gentlemen!Welcome to the final round of the U.A. Sports Festival!" She paused allowing the crowd to roar.

"Now the finals will be a 1v1 style tournament between our finalists which are listed here.In this our contestants will be fighting each over but obviously lethal attacks are not allowed and will result in disqualification.You can win in 3 ways make the opponent give up, ringout, or by knocking them unconscious." A bracketed tournament appeared as she finished her explanation.

Jirou looked at the board and paled, she'd been giving the worst match up possible, having super hearing was not a good thing against someone who can create explosions loud enough to burst normal eardrums.She shuddered, maybe she should just concede, she literally cannot win her matchup.

Shinsou was cheering the fact he'd been matched up against someone not in his class, this was perfect, they'd fall for his quirk easily and depending on whether or not Kirishima won, he could even be fighting two class 1-B students in a row.He wasn't religious but the amount of luck involved here was staggering.

Izuku figured Mei wouldn't be too rough of a match, even with her support items so it should be pretty easy for him, in fact he could just use EMP and watch as every single machine she had faltered.Izuku could just chalk it up to malfunctioning equipment and no one would be the wiser.

Tenya knew his match against Todoroki would come down to speed, now that the boy used his fire he could not play the long game.He must use RECIPROBURST or he will lose.

Bakugo realized his first match was an easy win but saw who he would be fighting in the round after that.He's barely going to breach the top 10 huh, even with Deku not being able to use all his quirks he knew how bad this was for him.His confidence had been shattered, he knew it, his pride was the thing that drove him forward and now it's been crushed into the dirt.What else did he have?

Midnight chimed back in after letting the fighters read the board."Will the first contestants head to their waiting rooms, we will be beginning in 15 minutes."

Izuku then got a text from Mei of all people.

Cinnamon Bun: Hmm, not like I'd pass a free win up plus this helps you more anyway

Inventor extraordinaire has gone offline.

Izuku just sighed, that was the most Hatsume Mei thing he'd ever read.Of course she didn't care about winning she just wanted to show off her 'babies'.

Setsuna Tokage vs Shinsou Hitoshi

"Are you all ready?YAYYYYYYY it's the purple haired Eraserhead lookalike of class 1-A, Shinsou Hitoshi versus one of the recommendation students of class 1-B, Setsuna Tokageeeeeeeee!"

Shinsou was staring down the other heroics student from 1-B, he had no idea what her quirk was but he didn't intend to find out."May the best man, or should I say woman win?" He activated his quirk here waiting for his trap to be sprung.

The greenette just chuckled."Ha you know it.I'm the best there is."

Well that was easy Shinsou thought to himself.

"Ready?Fight!" Midnight announced

Shinsou immediately took control of his opponent."turn around and walk out of the arena." Shinsou simply watched as the girl turned around and walked off, a small smile on his face.His quirk was perfect for heroics, he'd prove it.

Present mic's voice carried over the microphone."What is this?Setsune Tokage of class 1-B walks herself out of the ring voluntarily?Has the competitor Shinsou Hitoshi done something to her!?Well the fight is already over folks and a quick one at that.Shinsou Hitoshi wins!"

Once his opponent had stepped over the edge of the arena Shinsou released his control."Thank you for the good match Tokage-San." Before the girl could regain her senses Shinsou just walked off.

Tokage on the other hand was freaking out.'What the hell just happened?I lost?I don't even remember the fight starting.What did he do to me?' She just angrily walked back to the side of the arena she entered from.

Once Tokage had returned to the viewing section of the entirety of class 1-B they all started grilling her immediately."I have no idea what happened, the last thing I remember is the countdown starting and then bam I'm out of the arena, I'm sorry guys."

"Of course the detestable class of 1-A would have such a villainous quirk amongst themselves.It matters not though, Rin you must defeat him in the next round!"

Rin on the other hand didn't like his odds."You know I have to beat that guy with two quirks first right Monoma?His hardening seemed strong enough on it's own but he also has what looks like a teleportation quirk." The scales user did not like his odds.

Monoma simply continued his rant."Like that hardly matters Rin, there are only three of us left, we cannot let the upstarts of 1-A continue to dominate the show."

"Round 2 will be commencing soon, can the next contestants get to their waiting rooms."

Setsune flashed a toothy grin."You got this scales."

Rin was now standing apart from his opponent the red haired dual quirk user from 1-A, he didn't even know if his scales could hurt him through his hardening.

Kirishima spoke first."Relax man and let's have a manly battle." He smashed his hardened fists together.

Rin recovered slightly."Right, may the best man win."

Midnight was squealing internally while watching the two, such passionate youth.

"Time for the second round everybody, hopefully it'll be more of a show than the last one.From Class 1-A, getting 3rd in the obstacle course and working with team Bakugo to get 1st in the cavalry battle, its Ejiro Kirishima!And from Class 1-B, it's the man whose more lizard than human, Hiryu Rin!Ready?Start!"

The both of them instantly activated their quirks Rin knew he had no chance if his opponent was able to get up close so he started running in circles while firing his scales at Kirishima.However the attack seemed to simply bounce off harmlessly which made the Chinese boy even more irritated, of course his quirk wouldn't be able to deal enough damage on top of his opponent being able to teleport.

Kirishima on the other hand, was wincing in pain, these things hit like bullets and he knew he could stop those.'Better not to let this continue but also like Midoriya bro said I shouldn't combine them, I don't want to kill this guy.' Kirishima then started charging up quick step before launching himself slightly in front of the space Rin was going to appear, he made sure to deactivate the hardening on his fist before the punch to the gut connected though.When he turned around he saw the scales user crunched up in a ball on the ground.Taking no time he grabbed him and threw him from the arena.

" IN A STUNNING DISPLAY OF SPEED AND DURABILITY, EJIRO KIRISHIMA ENDS IT WITH A SINGLE PUNCH!KIRISHIMA WINS BY RINGOUT!"

Kirishima walked over to the guy he knocked the wind out of before extending a hand."Holy crap, those scales hurt man, I couldn't have held out for much longer.I can take bullets so that was impressive as hell."

Rin was still coughing to breathe but saw the hand and took it."Wow your good at hiding the pain man, I thought I wasn't even hurting you."

"Yeah well that's the trick for someone with a quirk like mine right?If you make the enemy think they aren't even able to hurt you it'll scare them into submission quicker."

"That's... a good point.I didn't even think of that.Good luck in the rest of the tournament dude." Rin sighed realizing he had been beaten thoroughly.

"Thanks bro I appreciate it and I'll avenge your classmate in the next round don't worry."

"Oh, so that brainwashing quirk has a weakness after all?" His opponent was too nice it seemed if he was going to drop free hints.

Shit, Kirishima realized he was giving info up on his classmates."Nah I'm just confident, ha ha ha."

That was the fakest laugh Rin had ever heard."Well right, good luck." He walked through his side of the arena.Once he got back to his class he had to let them know that the quirk had a weakness, he wasn't like Monoma but he did want to see his class do well.

"So your saying there's some way to exploit the quirk after all?" Monoma shouted in ecstatic glee."Shiozaki you must avenge class 1-B, thankfully we will have a chance to see what happens when Shinsou fights Kirishima.If Shinsou somehow still wins just act like Kirishima does and it should all work out." He cackled maniacally before getting a neck chop from Kendo.

"Monoma you really need to chill." The hand user in question was getting tired of his constant antics."He's probably right though, try and identify how Kirishima handles the fight you two.If we can figure out whatever weakness that quirk has we may be able to defeat it ourselves should it reach us."

"The good light of the lord shall guide us through this tribulation." The vine haired girl clasped her hands together in prayer while being showered by a light from above.

The rest of the class deadpanned, seriously how does she do that?

Meanwhile back with 1-A

"We're really crushing it so far guys, it's a shame that were going to have to start fighting our own class soon though." Izuku stammered out.

"Well obviously we had to eventually green, not much we can do about that." Jirou was still internally swearing about her match."So who's gonna win between your girlfriend and pinky?"

"Well you'd call it favoritism but Momo has this pretty easily.She has more range, speed, power, and options than Mina has.I'd be hard pressed to ever see Momo losing this.I'm expecting this to be over in about five seconds if I'm being honest."

Uraraka hearing Deku admit that Momo was girlfriend was still a pretty fresh wound and having it be reaffirmed right here was not helping, she just sulked off to the corner trying to avoid being near him right now.

"Oh really how so dude?" Kaminari joined into the conversation.

"I mean I'd spoil it but it's pretty obvious if you think about how the cavalry battle went." Izuku could see the gears spinning in Kaminari's head before the lightbulb appeared.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, she's just gonna tranq her isn't she?"

"Yeah..." Izuku sighed.

Back to the two people in the arena

"Yaomomo don't think I'm going to go easy on you just because your boyfriend is watching." The pink haired girl stuck her tongue out, little did she know she was teasing the beast and the beast was angry.

Well, Momo wouldn't lie to herself, getting to shut up Mina was going to be nice, her hand was already reflexively getting the feeling for creation.Waiting for the match start sound like one of those western duels she's seen in movies.

"IT'S TIME FOR ROUND 3 YALLLLLLLL.FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE TOURNAMENT IT'S 1-A VERSUS 1-A.ON ONE END WE GOT ONE OF THE FAN FAVORITES TO WIN THE WHOLE THING, HALF OF THE POWER DUO, YAOYOROZU MOMO HERSELF!AND ON THE OTHER SIDE WE HAVE THE PINK SKINNED, SELF PROCLAIMED, ALIEN GIRL, ASHIDO MINA!SHE CAME IN FIRST WITH TEAM BAKUGO IN THE PREVIOUS ROUND!READY?BEGIN!"

Mina's face quickly contorted from her usual grin when she looked down and saw the dart sticking out of her stomach."Oh that's not fa-" The poor girl couldn't even finish her sentence before crumpling to the floor.

"WHAT IS WITH THAT QUIRK FOLKS?!IT'S OVER IN AN INSTANT, YAOYOROZU MOMO WINS!"

Izuku just slapped his face back in the stands while everyone looked over at him.

"Dude I don't want to fight that next round!Call her off man!You can do that right!?" Kaminari pleadingly asked Midoriya.

"I mean you still gotta beat that girl with vines for hair Pikachu." Jirou answered first.

Kaminari just shrugged."I think I can beat her but I don't know how electricity works on sentient hair."

"Well you better not be the first one of to lose to class 1-B is all I'm saying." The earphone jack user was half teasing half pouting because her round was getting closer and closer.

"Hey normally I'd make some comment about how I'd like to take you out after this but I'm already taken, so sorry." Kaminari winked at the girl.

"How vulgar, I would never subject myself to any activity with a person of the likes of yourself." Shiozaki stuck her hands together in prayer before light began pouring down.

This time it was the entire stadium who was confused by the sudden appearance of light, class 1-B simply showed a face of understanding once they saw the crowd's reaction.

"ROUND 4 EVERABODAYYYYY!ANOTHER SHOWDOWN BETWEEN CLASS 1-A AND 1-B, WILL THIS BE ANOTHER BLOWOUT FOR 1-A?ON ONE HAND WE HAVE THE HUMAN EQUIVALENT OF A BATTERY.HE ALSO TOOK FIRST PLACE LAST ROUND!AND ON THE OTHER HAND WE HAVE IBARA, SHIOZAKI ANOTHER RECOMMENDATION STUDENT AND THE ASSASSIN OF CLASS 1-B!"Mic was about to announce the start of the match before being interrupted by the vine girl.

"Excuse me, I have simply come to achieve victory in battle, implying I wish to take the life of my opponent is simply offensive to my very being."

Present Mic sputtered for a bit before continuing which caused his co host to laugh at him."Right... sorry, ANYWAY, READY?GO!"

Kaminari wanted to end this quickly so he fully charged an indiscriminate shock, 1,300,000 volts which he immediately fired, only for the vine girl to erect a barrier at the last second.He just held up both hands going 'whey' until the vines girl removed him from the match.

Izuku face palmed again before muttering to himself."I even went through the trouble of getting him a second quirk but the idiot is too dumb to use it."

"IBARA SHIOZAKI WINS."

"What is with these classes and every fight being determined in an instant?"

"In the hero world a sneak attack or a surprise attack often ends in victory.Imagine someone with a knife snuck up on you unawares, quirk or not you wouldn't last long.The same thing is true of speed, if you can attack quickly you're much more likely to win a fight." The mummified man explained.

Jirou joined the greenette in face palming, stupid Jammingwhey.

Her inner disappointment was interrupted by the shrill voice of someone peeking over the barrier between the class 1-A and 1-B viewing areas."What is this?Is the detestable class 1-A not as good as everyone claimed?You have finally begun to see the true might of class 1-, wait Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, I've been wanting to talk to you two."

Both of them paled for a second as neither had particular enjoyed the boys company when they were at Soumei.Not to mention he knew Midoriya before he got his first quirk, Ultra-Sight.There wasn't much risk as Izuku covered his eyes with contact lenses but the risk wasn't zero.

Yaoyorozu was the first to respond."Hello Monoma, how have you been?"

"I was just surprised to see you two here at U.A and in 1-A of all things, plus you and Midoriya have been doing well so far.We of the elite class have to stick together." Monoma flashed them a thumbs up."But since you both are in that class I have no choice but to crush you two with all my strength, I'm sure you understand.If only you two had joined us in 1-B but alas it was not meant to be."

Kendo had been standing behind the boy barely restraining herself from knocking him out again but she didn't want to hurt his chances in his fight so she settled for dragging him away before returning herself."Sorry guys we're not all like that, he's just overly excitable."

Every head present in 1-A turned to Bakugo before a collective response came out."We know what's that like."

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU EXTRAS LOOKING AT?!" The explosive teen quickly shouted back.

Kendo paused in solidarity."I see." She simply went back to her class after that.

"Midoriya I had no idea you came from a wealthy background like Yaoyorozu, is that how you two became acquainted with each other?" Iida questioned the boy.

"Uh well I'm not really all that wealthy I just got sent to a nice school, I'd rather not talk about it." Izuku was not comfortable about where that question could lead in the slightest.

"Wait a minute, I knew I recognized you from somewhere Midoriya, and you Yaoyorozu!You both went to Soumei didn't you!?I also went there but we were in separate classes.I did see you two in the hall on occasion though."

"Yeah, some of my circumstances got me landed there."

So that's where Deku was sent after that day at Aldera, figures the government would bend over backwards for him.Bakugo scoffed at the thought.

"DEAR LISTENERS IT'S TIME FOR ROUND 5 THE CHILD OF ENDEAVOUR AND ONE OF THE PEOPLE FAVOURED TO WIN THE TOURNAMENT TODOROKI SHOUTO VERSUS THE BROTHER OF THE VERY TALENTED INGENIUM, IT'S OUR VERY OWN TENYA IIDA!IT'S A BATTLE OF THE RELATIVES OF PRO HEROES EVERYONE!"

The mere mention of his father's name was angering Shouto.

"READY?START?"

"RECIPROBURST!" Iida kicked his engines into full throttle instantly, he knew he had to no time to spare.Todoroki could permanently spam those glaciers now and there was no way Iida could handle more than one of those.The arena would become clogged and he wouldn't be able to build any speed.

Todoroki apparently had a similar plan in mind but also very different, he unleashed his ice in a massive circle around himself creating a barrier, he figured if Iida couldn't reach him then he could simply wait out Iida's reciproburst.He wasn't expecting the other teen to swing his foot hard enough to crack the ice but it managed to hold.

"Hmm I see, I have lost Todoroki.My recipro will expire shortly.Thank you for the wonderful match." Iida bowed while saying this.

"TENYA IIDA ADMITS DEFEAT.SHOUTO TODOROKI WINS!"

Endeavour was not pleased to see Shouto not using his flames during that match but it was an acceptable performance besides he had more important things to worry about, what that boy had told him was worrying him.He knew the rat was one to not be taken lightly, he should start preparing for the fallout but as he went to grab his phone it started ringing of it's own volition.He froze when he saw the name.

"Hello ... Nedzu, this is Endeavour."

"Ah yes Endeavour, some interesting information has come to my attention.I'll be honest I wish I had more time to compile what info I do already have but I know that my dear Izuku has spilled the beans so to speak.As it stands I haven't gathered nearly enough evidence and your lawyers are the best for a reason.So instead of formally charging you with what we have at the moment I shall instead settle this privately, although I'd always intended on doing that in the first place.We can't have our dear number 2 imprisoned after all, imagine the shock that would come to hero society." The mouse cackled at that last part.

"What are your terms?" Endeavour calmly replied.

"Ah well you see, that's the thing, we had detective Tsukauchi listen in on our little meeting with your son Shouto and every little thing he said came up as a truth.As it stands we could charge you for Abuse, Manslaughter, Neglect, and 3rd Degree Murder among other things.I'm sure you understand how bad that would be for you?Well as it stands my terms will be simple, you will trouble the family you have ruined no longer, you will financially support them for the rest of your days, you will never find yourself within 30 feet of any of them and you will never attempt anything like this with any other family.Do you understand?Break any of these rules and I will gladly break you."

Endeavour could hear the grin that damned mouse was probably spouting right now."...Understood."

"Oh and one last thing, you will get your wife cleared of mental insanity.We know you've been buying off the doctors to keep her locked up there."

Grrrrrrr."Fine rat, anything else?"

"Hmm ... well not at the moment but if it comes up you'll be the first to know, have a good day number 2."

Endeavour heard the phone call end, honestly that was better than he expected, he could live with those terms.His family never mattered anyway and his perfect creation already existed after all.

Round 6 and 7 passed quickly, Monoma had been given some of Shiozaki's hair which he used to copy her quirk and throw Uraraka from the ring.While all it took from Bakugo was a few stun grenade blasts to force Jirou to surrender as her enhanced hearing was causing them to bleed.Honestly round 1 of this tournament had been so completely one sided, he imagined it wasn't very interesting for the audience.Then again, what he was about to do might be worse.

"IT'S TIME FOR THE FINAL MATCH OF THE FIRST ROUND!ARE YOU ALL READY!?THE ONLY NON HERO COURSE STUDENT TO ADVANCE TO THE TOURNAMENT STAGE, MASTER OF INVENTIONS AND RECOMMENDED INTO THE SUPPORT COURSE, HATSUME MEI!VERSUS THE ONLY STUDENT IN HISTORY TO EVER BE RECOMMENDED BY ALL MIGHT AND PRINCIPAL NEDZU SIMULTANEOUSLY, HE'S BEEN LITERALLY BLOWING THE COMPETITION AWAY, IZUKU MIDORIYA!" Present mic let out a laugh as he heard the groans from his pun.

Could he not have left that part out Izuku groaned to himself.

He saw Mei grinning at him."Izuku I feel like your introduction was a bit better than mine if I'm being honest."

"Nah you're just imagining it, though I would appreciate it if you made your presentation quick.After that, I don't think I'm allowed to hold back." Not his fault everyone kept hyping him up.

"READY?FIGHT!"

What ensued was somehow worse than every other previous match combined.Izuku kept 'accidentally' letting Mei's gear capture him to show off just how useful her gear was to a hero but to everyone else not on the stage this was a 15 minute promo trailer for some support girl against someone who was clearly holding back.When the girl in question just walked off the stage it left a dazed Present Mic to announce the winner.

"Eraser that doesn't count as him getting top eight.Izuku Midoriya wins.Let's just be happy it's over folks." Mic sighed as he got off the mic.

"A bet is a bet Mic, also Midoriya your getting detention for that." That statement at least brought out some laughter from the crowd.

Izuku was just cursing internally, he didn't want even more detention.Ah well at least he helped Mei out.
