The previous night

Tae sat at her desk with her head in her hands, why, why did Nedzu tell him to do that.The public had slowly but surely been getting moved onto their side, and then the person in question goes and pulls this stupid stunt.At least the boy had clearly not been aiming at the crowd specifically, many weren't hit and none of the reporters equipment had been drenched, so they couldn't complain about anything besides some wet shoes and socks.The chairwoman of the HSPC had finally prepared their message, it was about to be aired along with All Might's retirement announcement.Though to be fair everyone already knew he was going to retire but the HSPC needed to make it official.She turned the TV on and prepared for the next shitshow, at least she could trust All Might to give a decent speech, she rubbed her face taking solace in that fact.Well that and that the new laws were almost put through, removal of a quirk is now a potential punishment for committing a serious crime using a quirk.

"-ight is here to make an statement tonight.Many are speculating that it will be him announcing his retirement but it could be anything folks, so let's give a round of applause to our NUMBER 1 HEROOOOOOOOO!" The man with a mic pointed and a spotlight shined onto the dilapidated form of the number 1 hero.

Toshinori felt the pressure but it was nothing he hadn't done before, he waved at the crowd with both of his hands as he walked towards the middle of the stage.All Might sat before speaking."Thank you for having me Toro, how has your week been going so far?"

"Great and it's great to have you as well, how has life been since the battle?Is your old wound still acting up?Also I just want to make sure that you know we all think the world of you for doing everything you have for the last six years despite said injury." Toro did truly respect the man in front of him.

Clearly the crowd did as well as they erupted into cheers, Toshinori heard things like 'We love you All Might', 'Were so proud to have had you as our number 1', 'Thank you for everything All Might'.All of that was in combination with the entire crowd clapping as loudly as they could.

Once the cheering stopped All Might Continued."Well I won't say it's been easy and I'm sure the astute noticed how my time doing hero work was going down year after year after year.That being said I've had this injury for over six years now so I'm more or less used to it.As for life after the battle it hasn't changed much honestly, I was only able to maintain my hero form for two hours prior to the battle so I must say it didn't come as a surprise that I'd finally hit my limit.I'm just glad that my two proteges were there to carry the day, I'm very proud of them." Toshinori was in fact truly proud of them, he didn't care how many interviews he had to take so that the world saw them the same way.

"Speaking of your two proteges, what do you think about the public's dislike of Izuku Midoriya, err All For None."

Toshinori chuckled."Well I heard about what he did to those reporters and protesters earlier and while I can't say that was the best way to handle it, it certainly was effective.As for their dislike of him I'm sure eventually he'll win them over just like he won me over."

"Speaking of that when did you meet him?You speak as if you known him for a long time." Toro was genuinely curious.

"Ah that is because indeed I have, I met him near five years ago.It was classified at the time but I met him after he took his first quirk.I have a friend whose quirk can detect lies and the boy spoke about how he wanted to be a hero and that it had been an accident, he was a late bloomer if your wondering.Young Midoriya actually wanted to be like myself and save people with a smile, the boy asked me a simple question, "Can I be like you?Can I be a hero with my quirk?A Villain's quirk?" Toshinori paused for dramatic effect.

Toro needed to hear more."And?"

"I simply laughed at the boy, no quirk is villainous.Could you imagine if I was a villain?Instead I took the boy on and made him one of my two proteges, I knew my time would be up eventually and I figured who better to carry the torch." All Might smiled fondly at the memory.

"Ah so you let him take your quirk?"

Toshinori had mentally prepared himself for that question and while it still shook him, with Izuku's quirk known it could easily be explained."Indeed, however my quirk is a stockpile quirk and when All For None first takes a quirk he can't use it to its fullest potential.It will be awhile before you can expect him to have power like I used too, I just recently let him take it after all." A complete lie but it was all they had, they couldn't let anyone find out about One For all.

"I must say that it's still quite the story that not only does one person possess All For None's quirk, but he is the great grandchild of a previous villain with the very same quirk.Did you know his lineage when you met him?" Toro asked.

"Truth be told no but it would not have mattered, I know the heart of a true hero when I see one and he has that spark.Anyone who sees him as anything other than that is very mistaken." Toshinori would protect his charge however he could.

"I see I see, you have total faith in him don't you?"

"I do with 100 percent certainty, Young Midoriya will do a great job as a hero and as one of my replacements."

"Speaking of replacements, Yaoyorozu Momo or Deva when did you pick her as another of your proteges.Also is it official then?Are you retiring All Might?" Toro finally got to the main chunk of tonight's interview.

"Indeed, I came here to announce my retirement, as of now Endeavour is the number 1 hero.It's regrettable that this day finally came but I've been preparing for this day for a long time.As for Deva I met her about three years ago, she also had the true heart of a hero, she'd been used by all the people around her but that never hurt her belief in humanity.She just wants to give back to the world and help others, I'm just as proud of her as I am young Midoriya."

"Now you say used, would it be okay for you to tell us how?"

"It would not." Toshinori chuckled."Just like young Midoriya, she has her own circumstances, If they wish to speak about it, then they may do so.I will not speak of such matters for them."

"I see, and how do you think your retirement will affect villainy in the long run?"

"Honestly in the short term I think the crime rate may increase for a bit, however since your asking about the long term I have no worries."

Toro tilted his head."And why is that?"

All Might chuckled again."Have you not heard anything I've said tonight?The world will be in the care of two excellent heroes in the near future, in fact they should be starting work studies soon so you'll see them in action within a few months.In addition the HSPC asked me to make a few comments to assuage the public.'Izuku Midoriya and Yaoyorozu Momo will be in no trouble regarding the fight at Jakku, in addition the removal of someone's quirk is now a punishment that can be doled out for misusing a quirk.' So in other words, villains.You should watch out, this symbol may be retiring but you've got two new ones to deal with." Toshinori gave a devilish grin to the cameras as the crowd erupted.

Tae cut the screen off, she didn't need to see anymore, All Might was killing it.Even retired she could count on the man to do his job dutifully.Feeling slightly better about the day's ending she laid back into her chair and relaxed.

Current Day

Izuku sat outside Uraraka's room, he'd realized something important.He missed Galeforce, he'd put so much effort into making the quirk his own, Air Cannon while different and arguably stronger was not the quirk he'd loved.Izuku raised his hand and knocked on the door, it was right before the provisional license exam but Uraraka would not pass with Galeforce.She simply did not have the practice required with the quirk yet, Air Cannon however?It comes strong and she wanted to do rescue work, Air Cannon is way more useful for that.

Uraraka rubbed her eyes as she opened her door, she had like another hour to sleep and whoever was knocking was doing so like 3 hours before they needed to get up.The exam isn't until noon and this was one of the few days she could sleep in.So when she opened the door to see Izuku's freckled face staring her down she was confused to say the least."Deku?"

"Hey Uraraka, I need both a favour and I have a favour to give." Izuku rubbed the back of his head realizing how selfish this request was.

"Sure?" Uraraka was confused to say the least.

"I want Galeforce back!" Izuku near screamed out in passion.

"Deku I don't mind but I literally have to do an exam with a quirk I'm already behind on." Uraraka furrowed her brow, she'd given him the chance to not give up the quirk and he'd given it to her through tears anyway.

"I promise you Uraraka, I'm not hurting your chances of succeeding." Izuku gave her a bright smile.

"Deku what?" This exchange made no sense to her.

"This isn't an insult but honestly you aren't trained with the quirk enough to pass the test, but there is another one I want to give you.With it I promise your going to pass, I want to give you my new Air Cannon quirk.If anything you need to worry about holding back instead of not going far enough." Izuku both wanted to help the girl and get his favourite quirk back.

"Deku I am literally going to take a test that will determine if I can do hero work or not in like 4 hours.I do-"

Izuku cut her off."Uraraka I promise you this quirk will help you more but if you don't want it then I won't push you." Izuku struck his hand out waiting for her answer.

Uraraka stared at the hand, realizing just what Deku was asking.She'd have to start fresh with a quirk she has no experience with on a test that could determine her future, but he had a point does she really think she can control Galeforce enough to pass this test?"Deku will you help me practice with it?"

"Absolutely, the only strain the quirk causes is that it takes a bit of the oxygen in your body but honestly the amount is so miniscule it's basically nothing.You'll do so much better with this quirk I promise you, both on this exam and in rescue work." Izuku reasserted his hand.

Uraraka saw it and accepted, she grabbed Deku's hand and felt the small tingle of a quirk leaving and then being gained."Alright let's do this deku!"

"Trust me, you'll need to hold back more than anything.That quirk is really, really strong." Izuku visibly shook when he remembered what he did to those trees.

"O-oh." Uraraka paled at that but followed Deku regardless.

"We're here." Aizawa said to his class.As far as he was concerned they had this test easily, now that Midoriya's secret had been revealed they didn't have to hold anything back.Sure the U.A. crushing was still a thing but honestly Eraserhead laughed, his class was going to turn the U.A. crushing on its head.His student's were going to slaughter the other competitors, so Aizawa did the only thing he could he sat back and smirked as his class exited the bus.

Todoroki immediately noticed a dark haired heavily built man staring at him darkly as he left the bus, he just chose to ignore it and walked with his class.

However as soon as Aizawa exited the bus he internally cringed, NO NO NO NOT HER!

"Eraser?Eraser?Is that you?"

A sea foam green haired woman started waving at their teacher as she ran over.The entire class stared and were confused by the scene.

"Ohmigosh it is you Eraser, I saw you at the sports festival and on the TV but I haven't got to see you in person in forever!How's my future husband?" The pirate?themed woman asked but the entire class was more focused on her speech than anything else.

"HUSBAND!?" A good chunk of the class shouted."Awwww teach you should've told us you had a special someone." Mina added.

"She's not and were not." Eraserhead was doing everything in his power not to flee back onto the bus, instead maintaining his composure as best as possible.He can just ignore her advances and pretend that everything is normal.

"But if we got married we could start a family life filled with laughs everyday." The woman continued.

"That sounds like an actual hell Emi." Aizawa responded.

Emi just started laughing."Psssh always my straight man Eraser."

"How'd you two meet!" Mina squealed out.

Emi seemed delighted to answer the girl."Our offices used to be close to each other.We'd occasionally help each other and our mutual relationship bloomed.A true love held between two people."

"Untrue, Ms. Joke stop confusing them." Aizawa groaned.

Said woman just start howling with laughter."I told you all it'd be fun to mess with Eraser, come on you lot."

As Ms. Joke said that a class of students appeared behind her, however what drew their attention was the black haired Midoriya that stepped out in front of them "Oh it's really you guys, I saw you on TV!My name's Shindo it's nice to meet you all." Shindo held his hand out.

Everyone in 1-A did a double take looking between the two, while Bakugo slapped the hand Shindo held out away."Screw off, the words coming out of your mouth don't match the look on your face.If your gonna be coming after us might as well say it upfront." Bakugo snarled as he walked off.

Kirishima gasped and bowed."Dude don't be like that.I'm sorry for how rude he is."

Shindo just changed his smile to a much more natural looking one."Nah it's fine, it just shows how strong his spirit is.Can't wait to see you all in action."

Aizawa getting tired of the spectacle called out."Go get changed, stop wasting time.Midoriya your with me."

Hearing that name startled Ms. Joke's class."THAT'S HIM!?"

Izuku copied his teacher and slapped his face."It's nice to meet you all?" Izuku wasn't sure if they were scared or surprised.

"Huh so that's the kid, and she's the other one?" Emi pointed at Yaoyorozu.

"That's them, however were wasting time.I already said once, Go get changed." Aizawa threatened his class who hurriedly walked off.

Once alone and walking towards their seats for the exam Izuku had to make something clear."Um Aizawa-Sensei?"

Seeing his Problem Child looking so pensive had the man confused."Yes?"

"I just wanted to apologize about yesterday, I really didn't want to prank you and honestly like I told Nedzu that was kind of mean.The only reason I agreed to it was Nedzu said that having ones sentience taken away and then having it suddenly regained was really startling.I mean could you imagine suddenly being turned into a mindless animal only to suddenly go back to being able to think, I'd be freaking out if I was no longer capable of higher thought personally." Izuku really liked Aizawa which is why that prank hurt so much and Bakugo had already started turning over a new leaf, as for Monoma, fuck him.

Aizawa wasn't exactly happy about what happened but he didn't exactly blame Izuku either, Nedzu would've done something regardless."It's fine just don't do anything like that again, also if I need help getting revenge on Nedzu your helping me."

Izuku started smiling at that."You got it Sensei!"

Ms. Joke had been walking behind the pair as they talked and even she couldn't handle how wholesome the situation in front of her was.You really care for the kid don't you eraser?

They got the rest of the way to their seats before anyone spoke again."You really like this year of kids don't you Eraser, I counted and you still have all twenty of them."

Aizawa just scoffed."They have potential, that's all."

"Oh ho then what about what I heard at the sports festival, you seem pretty attached to this little one at least." Emi continued to tease.

Izuku on the other hand started blushing profusely.

Aizawa even couldn't outright deny her statement, he'd feel bad saying that in front of the kid.

Emi who had been merely joking stared at the two and came to the obvious conclusion."Oh my god, you really have won him over.Am I dead?Have I been going about trying to win him over wrong?How'd you do it kid?Tell me!" The woman stood up and was violently shaking the kid.

Aizawa stood and threw the woman back into her chair, a fact he found very easy as he used a little bit of his super strength."Stop grilling him, he gets that enough." Aizawa said dismissing her.

Ms. Joke was stunned, this kid not only won over All Might, he won over Eraserhead.Was that even possible?What's his secret?"Kid you gotta tell me your secret."

Izuku sighed as well."I don't have one?"

"Joke, it's starting soon, stop bothering him.If you truly want to try and win me over, you'd do your best to not make me angry." Aizawa added.

Wait, he was considering it?She'd just been messing with him, now that she actually thought about it her and Aizawa wasn't the worst match up possible.Suddenly she was slightly blushing in her seat as for the first time in her life she didn't have a joke prepared.So instead she just turned to look at the giant box containing all the hero hopefuls unfold as the first round started.

Izuku on the other hand activated zoom and stared at his class, a certain ravenette in particular.He believed in her beyond a shadow of a doubt, however Izuku was confused as to the actual goal of the exam.They all had rubber balls in hand and targets on their body, so the goal was likely to hit those targets with the balls, the teachers did say combat ability was important.Izuku wondered how many targets each of them had to hit to pass.

Ms. Joke on the other hand had another question on her mind."Did you not tell them Eraser?"

Aizawa smirked."Tell them about what?"

"You know exactly what I mean, the thing that's almost become a custom at this point, that thing?" Emi didn't want to outright say it because of the student next to her.

Izuku while confused started thinking about what she meant.His classes abilities were known, they were watched at the sports festival, the other classes knew who they were immediately ... Oh."There going to all target U.A. aren't they?"

"Ding ding ding, your quite the smart one aren't you.So like I said why didn't you tell them Eraser?" Emi redirected her gaze back at the man.

"I didn't tell them for the same reason I haven't expelled anyone.They're all heroes in training of the highest order.When they actually begin their careers as pro heroes and they actually do hero work, all of their enemies will know their quirks ahead of time.This is just training for the future." Aizawa gave his evil glare to Joke.

Izuku didn't mention how he could very easily change that but for the most part Aizawa was correct, heroes had to fight people with unknown powers while having their own powers known.It was certainly a 'logical' move as their teacher would put it."Ah if that's the case then they have nothing to worry about."

Emi let out a surprised gasp."Huh?"

Izuku just smiled."Momo's down there."

Momo had very quickly realized what would happen and had coordinated their class, even without Izuku they had this."They're all going to come for us, Uraraka, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Mina you are our defense.Sero, Tokoyami, Iida, Tyusu, Kirishima, and Aoyama, your going to pick off stragglers for free kills for us.Everyone else we are the close range defense, if anyone gets in close.Make them regret it." Momo had definitely been influenced by her crazy boyfriend if the sheer bloodlust radiating from her body meant anything, but the fact that Bakugo of all people was listening to her orders without question, was what really convinced the rest of the class to listen to her.

"I'm going to blow the fuck out of those balls 3D printer.Round Face, Icy Hot, and Alien girl you better not let us down." Bakugo screeched.

Todoroki just let out a small smirk."That's assuming you can keep up with us Bakugo."

Bakugo started growling grimacing at the boy in question."Grrrrr you think you can talk hot shit?You lost to that one fuck from 1-B of all things."

Uraraka cut in."Guys guys stop fighting, we have to literally fight every other person here.We don't need more enemies."

Momo joined in."She's right Todoroki give us cover, Mina start producing acid as vicious as possible outside of the barriers.We need defense or mobility to counter being attacked and we can't do the latter so defense it is.Bakugo and Uraraka you handle all the projectiles, both of you have explosive quirks.Iida your our strike force, run in attack get out, Kirishima if you see a chance go for it as well." Izuku had told her about the new quirk he'd given Uraraka and honestly it scared her, hell it scared her when Izuku had it.

"Got it Yaomomo." Uraraka smiled.

Kirishima was ready."Dude commander Yaomomo is manly as hell."

"I shall do as you ask Vice President, our actions will not let our class down.1-A shall run through today into the future." Iida was not the most competitive but even he couldn't help but be infected by the mood that had overtaken their class.

"High Class your lucky I actually acknowledge you." Bakugo added.

Izuku smiled as his class started working together to build a fortress to defend themselves, they'd all really recently come together.With both of the classes most anti social members coming together, it really strengthened their bonds.Todoroki and Bakugo thank you two for finally working together, even if begrudgingly.Momo was the rallying banner when Izuku himself wasn't available and it truly honored him, he was their class president sure, and they all looked up to him with some kind of respect.Now that respect was being applied to his girlfriend and he couldn't be more proud of her.

"Why do you both look so excited, am I missing something?" Ms. Joke tilted her head at the two people next to her.

"Tell me Emi, did you see that disastrous interview the HSPC set up with Midoriya and Yaoyorozu?" Aizawa asked.

"It'd be hard to NOT have seen it, the thing was broadcast nearly everywhere."

"Then do you remember what Midoriya's quirk is?"

It took a few seconds but the lightbulb finally went off."Kid you didn't!"

"Oh I definitely did." Izuku started chuckling.

"That's so unfair Eraser why do you get him as a student.I want my class to all have extra quirks!" Emi was once again feeling sheer awe at the child in front of her, he not only had charisma that could draw in the likes of Eraserhead and All Might but he had the power to back up that respect.

Aizawa laughed harder than either Emi or Izuku had ever seen before."If you want this idiot he's yours, I swear the amount of trouble he's put me through, I swear I've lost years of my life teaching this class alone.

Izuku sank into his seat at that, his teacher wasn't exactly wrong.The greenette hadn't exactly made it easy, what with being targeted by the villains and now the Yakuza, Izuku briefly wondered what his class would be like if he'd never been in it.

Aizawa saw the self deprecating look on the kids face and relented."Midoriya, I was joking.You may be a major pain in my ass, but I do want you.Don't forget that."

Izuku sniffled a bit but kept himself mostly composed, he remembered the night before he was kidnapped.Aizawa could be such a dad at times."You got it sir."

Emi on the other hand was squealing, was this what it'd be like if she could snag Aizawa?Was he really a big softie underneath all the snark."You've got to go on a date with me now Eraser, after seeing that I refuse to settle for anything else." The sea foam colored woman said.

"Eh maybe." Was all Aizawa said as he returned to watching his class, that black haired Midoriya managed to break up the ground but the majority of the attack had been cancelled out by Jirou, on the other hand Kirishima and Iida were rapidly running about and throwing other kids at the group of their class, allowing for a quick clean up.

"Wanna make a bet Eraser?" Izuku asked.

Slightly interested."About?"

"How fast it'll take all of our class to win." Izuku smirked completely confident in all of them.

"Hmm your on Problem Child." Aizawa also smirked.

"I bet they all pass within 8 minutes, if it takes any longer than that you win."

"And the stakes?" Aizawa asked.

"We have to do one thing the other asks, within a reasonable limit of course."

Emi couldn't help but stare angrily at how cocky U.A. was being, though from what she could see down there they weren't exactly wrong.Their class was something else entirely as it mowed down the competitors.Their defense was nigh impeccable as the faster students ran around picking off the weak links of other classes.Joke especially stared at the round faced girl who was now somehow capable of producing hurricanes from her hands, something she certainly couldn't do before and almost certainly she could now because of the green haired student sitting next to her.At this point the woman just hoped her class would be smart enough to avoid trying to fight U.A.

"Your on Midoriya." Either way Aizawa felt it would be a win for him, a favor for the kid couldn't hurt that bad, right?(Wrong, Aizawa was very wrong at that moment.)

"We should've brought Eri, she would've loved to see this." Izuku said as he fiddled with the now grown horn, it was starting to slightly ache again so he definitely needed to use it soon.The wind up time seemed to be around a month, and it was probably time to finally try and use it for human testing, he'd need to get Ectoplasm to help with training it, his clones were the perfect test dummy.That or Izuku's own creations, he didn't want to accidentally unmake a person after all.

"You know why we couldn't Midoriya." Aizawa added dryly."Although I do agree she would've loved to see this.Did she tell you she's learned how to do the cat's cradle with string.I've never seen her look more proud."

"Huh no she hasn't, maybe she's going to show me later." Izuku responded.

Emi who could no longer contain herself."Whose Eri?"

"Government Secret." They both responded mechanically but Joke could see the shit eating grin on their faces.God it was like there were two Eraserheads.

Grumbling she turned back to the match and noticed 1-A had specifically been tying up people instead of actually getting them out, they had around 30 people forcibly restrained at the moment.Emi was just glad most of them weren't her student's.Then suddenly the announcer went crazy, announcing person after person passed as 1-A just started mercilessly tagging the people they'd collected.

"Looks like I win Aizawa-Sensei." Izuku said.

"Looks like you did, so what's your favour?" Aizawa asked inquisitively.

"Simple.Take Ms. Joke out on a date."

Aizawa froze, the kid wasn't serious right?"M-midoriya."

Was the other greenette playing as her wingman?Emi couldn't believe her ears.

"A bets a bet Aizawa, how bad could it be?It's just one date.If you hate it never talk to her again, it's as simple as that." Izuku continued.

Okay that kind of hurt her feelings if she were being honest, she's not that bad."I promise I'll be on my best behaviour Eraser." Emi fluttered her eyes at the grumpy man.

Aizawa just huffed before fishing out his phone."Here's my number, ONLY call me during work hours.I'll figure something out by the end of the week." After having done so he glared as his student, though the pro hero couldn't entirely be mad, his student did just use his free favour to try and help him.

Izuku just had a shit eating grin on his face.Another point for Team Izuku.

Emi on the other hand stared at the phone like it was some kind of holy object."I love you kid!" Emi entered the number into her own phone before returning the object, she'd been trying forever to get the hard asses number and the kid accomplished it in like 10 minutes.

"No problem , huge fan by the way.I want to be a hero kind of like yourself honestly, though Eraser is still the inspiration for my kind of hero." Izuku admitted which started making the person next to him start blushing profusely.

"Hear that Eraser?You've got a fan." Emi started teasing.

Completely being caught off guard Aizawa could only grumble in response.

Izuku decided to spare the man."I wonder what round two is going to be like, do either of you know?"

Aizawa glad to be free from the twos combined teasing."No idea Problem Child, they actually completely restructured the test due to the increasing villain attacks and the retirement of All Might, the pass rate has been drastically decreased as well."

"Yeah, it's crazy how much has been going on lately... Wait a minute your All Might's personal student aren't you?And he's had that injury for years, you knew didn't you?" Emi realized.

"Yeah I did, he actually showed it to me the day I met him." Izuku also looked fondly back at the memory, he wished his other mentor was here as well."I'm going to go to the restroom while there on break.Either of you need anything?"

Both just shook their heads which led to Izuku walking off.As he did he swore he could hear Ms. Joke flirting with Aizawa.The thought disturbed him greatly so he increased his pace to the restroom.Izuku pondered things briefly as he went, Warp Gate kind of invalidated quite a few of his quirks and he'd recently had the problem of being too close to his limit.Water Cutter was entirely unnecessary as he could just open a portal to the ocean.Float made it so Molecular Manipulation was unneeded as well since he no longer needed to keep constantly using Galeforce to fly, not to mention he did exhaustive endurance training.Izuku should pawn the two of them off on 1-B or teachers.Though if he gave them to 1-B it could be seen as a gesture of good will, he'd ask Nedzu about it later.Izuku's thoughts had been occupying his mind so much he hadn't even realized he'd made it to the bathroom already.

Izuku thought he heard footsteps behind him and turned only to see nothing, but then he heard the unmistakable sound of shoes running on tile.Izuku instantly entered battle mode, Tempo activated and Thermal turned on, finally Izuku saw them.He had an invisible enemy, but Hagakure was down in the arena, not to mention she was definitely on their side.Not letting himself hesitate Izuku dodged the attacker's outstretched hand that had he could only assume was a weapon based on the way their hand was held."Who are you!?" Izuku shouted before activating Galeforce and attempting to push them into the wall.However as he did so, somehow the figure disappeared.Izuku activated Muscular immediately and rolled forward, narrowly avoiding a blow behind him.He'd heard the wind of the attack pass over where his head used to be as Thermal once again confirmed that there was a person in front of him.

The figure finally went slack and started laughing."Oh Izu darling it's been so so long since I've seen you.How wonderful you'll be covered in blood.Can you imagine it, we can cuddle each other covered in each other's blood.Honestly the thought gets me so excited."

Izuku watched as the girl moved one of her invisible hands in between her legs.So you know, he was more than slightly unnerved at the thought of the woman in front of him getting off to the idea of drowning in his blood."Toga you wanted help once, just come back.I promise you we can still help you." Izuku asked pleadingly, the girl didn't deserve whatever had been done to her.

The figure suddenly turned visible before snarling."As long as that bitch lives I can never have my Izu.What's wrong with a girl fighting for the man she loves?If anything the voices freed me, the world was stifling me but now?Now I'm free." Toga suddenly switched back to smiling."Besides were alone together Izu, don't you want to be together darling?Think of all the things I could do for you!That harlot wouldn't be willing to do half the stuff I'm into." Toga lifted her skirt revealing a very very damp spot on her underwear."See!Look at my love for you."

Izuku had never been more disturbed in his life if he was being honest.Usually when a woman was basically throwing themselves at a guy they would be happy, but this, right now?No no no no no absolutely not."Toga if you give yourself up I can still plead your case, I know your a good person."

That was clearly not the response Toga wanted as she started snarling."I knew it, SHE'S CONTROLLING YOU!" Toga started screaming at the end."The doctor was right I will be needing these." Toga suddenly held up multiple vials of what appeared to be blood.

Izuku knew what Toga's quirk was and was very confused.

The confused look on her darling's face was so adorable."Oh Izu dear don't worry about it, I'm just going to remove all those unnecessary things from your life.Soon it'll just be me and you." Toga started laughing and Izuku decided it was time to stop playing around.

Snapshot Izuku called to himself before lunging at his opponent.His opponent's tools, Invisibility, Teleportation?Ability to copy a person via drinking their blood, Izuku needed to restrain her now before she could cause more trouble.Izuku watched as the cheshire smile left her face slowly once she realized Izuku was attacking her, sorry Toga but I'm ending this in an instant.Izuku's fist slammed into her gut only for the impact to soften as goo replaced the injured part.Izuku instantly ended Snapshot as the girl started dissolving into said goo.

The smile returned as she started dying."Oh Izu, haven't you been told to treat a girl n-nicer than that.And d-don't worry, I have plenty more of your c-classmates blood.I' can't wait to s-see you for real l-later." Even as the clone died it never stopped smiling.

Izuku stood in front of the pile of goo and started realizing just how much of a threat the girl now posed, she's psychotic, can apparently turn invisible and is holding the blood of multiple of his classmates.Not to mention Twice can just copy her and send out invisible clones to attack people, Izuku could no longer deny the threat the League posed, they needed to be put down.Izuku was internally crying as he fell to the floor.'I'm so sorry Toga, I failed you.' The reality of the situation had finally hit him, he was an underground hero, a killer.He would likely need to kill the remaining league members as well as the people in control of the Yakuza, while the evil ones deserved it, people like Toga and Twice did not.Izuku sat weeping in front of the pile of a goo for awhile, the weight of responsibility he'd thought he known he had when in reality he hadn't, finally settled in.

Aizawa walked into the bathroom only to find his student openly bawling.When Izuku hadn't returned he got worried but now?Aizawa knew something was seriously off."Midoriya what happened?"

"Toga, she was here." Izuku gestured to the goo pile and the now broken vials of blood."She had multiple vials of the blood of my classmates and she said she has even more.I'd start searching hospitals or other places similar for moles." Izuku responded, his ever analytic mind unable to be stopped and in this case, was acting as a coping mechanism.

"Midoriya, look at me." Aizawa commanded.

Izuku did so begrudgingly.

"Don't think about that, are YOU okay?" Aizawa softened his voice considerably.

"Physically yes, Mentally I'm not so sure.I just, I just finally realized that I'm likely going to have to kill this girl.The first person I tried to save, the first person I failed." Izuku stared blankly at the pile of goo, he could deny it no longer.His path was going to be one filled with blood and death, just like Nighteye said.

This was the second time Aizawa had heard the resignation in his tone, why was the world like this to someone who just wanted to help people.Aizawa strode past the dissipating goo and grabbed his student before hugging him."Midoriya, you haven't failed yet.You can still reach her."

Izuku just looked at the floor darkly, not even reciprocating the hug."Can I?She just threatened to murder half of my class, she can turn invisible now and Twice can send out as many clones of her as he wants.Had it been anyone but me and maybe Jirou and Shouji you'd be looking at the bloody remains of one of your students Eraserhead."

Upon hearing that news even the underground hero had been shocked into silence, not to mention the boy hadn't even used his name.

Izuku separated from the man before speaking mechanically."Villain: Toga Himiko, multiple vials of classes blood, can turn invisible, can transform with said blood into any of our classmates.Can possibly teleport, vendetta against Yaoyorozu Momo in particular.That's my report, I'm taking a walk Eraserhead."

Eraser just watched in shock as the zombie esque body of his student walked off, the man wanted to help but he doubted he could at the moment.So instead he did the only thing he could and called the examiners warning them of the fact that a Rank A villain was here.The exam was already mostly finished by the time the news spread so they ended it immediately, accepting the results they had so far.While proud of the fact his entire class now had provisional licenses, Aizawa couldn't shake the overhanging dread that he now felt.Izuku was right, the villains weren't going to stop, and now it was possibly time for their counterattack.

Momo was busy quickly running back and forth saving people for the final part of the provisional license exam, she'd like to think she was doing a good job so far but she had no idea.Momo created a metal pillar and used it to prop up some rubble so the person underneath could escape."Take my hand your safe now." Momo gave them a reassuring smile doing her best to pretend like this was real.

The 'casualty' managed to crawl their way out once the rubble was lifted from her hiding space."I think I sprained my ankle, can you carry me?"

Keeping up the smile."Of course miss, I'll get you to safety in no time." Momo turned before indicating for the person to get on her back, which they did.

Momo started running with the person on her back but was stunned as suddenly the speakers roared out."Class A villain detected, all students report to the rescue area of the exam, I repeat all students to the rescue area of the exam." Momo had no idea how she knew, but she knew Izuku was involved somehow.However she trusted him to handle himself."Would you like for me to let you down or carry you there?"

The examiner disguised as a casualty didn't hesitate as their demeanor rapidly changed to one of fear."Take me there right now!"

Momo slightly winced at the woman screaming in her ear but complied regardless and quickly powered back up to 11% before quickly running the rest of the way to the safe zone.Momo let the woman down before turning to where Izuku and Aizawa were watching from the stands but both were gone and only that green haired woman from before remained.Momo wanted to desperately start searching for him but she was cut off by the proctor from before."All examinees remain in the safe area, police and heroes are surrounding the area, keep calm and be vigilant."

That news greatly irritated Momo, that meant she couldn't leave and she had no plans to stay.She was just about to sneakily head out when a hand landed on her shoulder."High Class, he's got it.Just stay here." Bakugo grunted out.

"Bakugo, we both know he needs someone to help him, I need to go." Momo desperately begged.

Bakugo kept his arm stiff."And the nerd's got teach, he'll be fine.Stay here get your license and then be there for him later.I'm not good at this emotional shit but I know he's gonna need you later on."

Momo saw a face she'd never seen on Bakugo before and relented."Y-your right.Thanks Bakugo."

"Pssh don't thank me you stupid 3D printer, I'm just trying to set things straight." Bakugo looked away as he said that.

Izuku had walked the halls thinking about the turn of events, there were more than a few possibilities in his head.Ujiko gave her another quirk, since he could copy quirks like how he does with the Nomu it'd make sense.Does that mean the entire League of Villains now has multiple quirks?The other possibility that was the most likely was that Toga could use the quirks of people she drank the blood of, she herself might not have known about that power due to her parents abusing her and forcing her not to use it.As for the teleportation?Which Izuku wasn't sure that's what it was, she did manage to briefly disappear and reappear during the battle at Jakku, so maybe it isn't that?Izuku just shook his head, Toga was probably on the same level as Hagakure now, trying to figure out what happened was pointless.What had a point was trying to figure out their likely goals, she was almost certainly sent here to steal his blood.Not to mention she somehow obtained her classmates blood, on top of all of that she was a clone, meaning the original was out there somewhere.Izuku did not like the thought of that, there were a few ways she could make use of that, anything from publicly framing his classmates to breaking into U.A. itself.The second option deeply worried Izuku, did they want Eri back?Of course Izuku knew they did but did that mean they were going to infiltrate U.A. to get her back?Does that also mean her quirk wasn't the only reason she was taken?She did have all those surgical scars, it could be blood related?God Izuku was lost in his head at the moment, he had no idea what to do or what to prepare for.The only hint he had was that Shigaraki was a massive threat, for reasons unbeknownst to him Nighteye refused to further elaborate on what he saw in his future because 'it couldn't be changed anyway.' Izuku swore that man had one of the world's most useful quirks but used it in of the least useful ways."Midoriya!" A voice broke Izuku from this thoughts.

"Huh?" Izuku swung around to see Aizawa.

"You shouldn't be walking around here alone, I know your stressed about what happened but they're clearly after you.Leaving you unguarded is just irrational." Eraserhead explained.

"Yeah, you're not wrong.Sorry for walking off like that."

"It's fine just stay close, I've already alerted the staff about the villain break in.The exam was ended early and everyone is currently gathered in the arena's safe zone.We're going to collect the rest of the class so let's go." Aizawa gestured for the kid to follow which he did.As they walked the man could easily see the problem child's head working in overdrive, his stupid analytical brain was always getting the best of him.The question was whether or not to let him keep thinking, he could be either further stressing himself out or using it as an escape from reality.

When Izuku noticed the quirk eraser staring at him he stopped."I might not look it but I'm better now Aizawa-Sensei, I'm just collecting my thoughts on everything and what they could mean.The pro hero Nighteye gave me some information about my future on top of telling me I'll be working for him for the work studies.I'm just trying to tie everything together but it's really difficult."

Aizawa tilted his head at that, he didn't even know whether or not the work studies were going to continue but of course Midoriya knew somehow, he would have to change his position on the subject it seemed."How so?"

"Well a couple things Recovery girl told me are starting to make more sense.She mentioned how the enemy could copy quirks, and Toga just turned invisible.Does she have Hagakure's quirk for example.Among other things, does the entire League of Villains now have multiple quirks.Does the Yakuza working them as well, where is Ujiko?He was absent the night of the raid, meaning they likely have another base.How did the villains get a hold of the body of that guy I gave decay too?I just have so so many questions in my head right now." Izuku ended his rant before he could get lost in his head again.

Stupid analytical brain indeed Aizawa scoffed."They're scary if valid points Midoriya, don't forget your most dangerous weapon and your worst weakness is this." Aizawa jabbed a finger into the problem child's head."You're smart, incredibly so for your age but you tend to overthink everything.That isn't necessarily a bad thing as it makes you more prepared compared to everyone else but it does carry the weakness of what do to do against the unknown.Knowing you you'll hang back and observe before striking, which could waste valuable time.Anyway what I'm trying to say is, you don't need to think about all the possibilities all the time.Sometimes you'll need to rely on instinct and that's likely how you'll proceed from this point onward.How far into the future did Nighteye see?"

Izuku knew everything the man was saying was true, Izuku often went off on some tangent because his brain was always in overdrive, his hero notes were just a way to make use of said tangents."He wouldn't tell me beyond that his visions get less predictable the further out he goes.All I know is that in a few weeks I'm fighting the Yakuza and then within a year or two I'm fighting Shigaraki in a battle that destroys half of Japan."

"What!?" Aizawa shouted in surprise.

Izuku rubbed the back of his head, 'right probably shouldn't of said that' Izuku thought and sighed before continuing."Somehow Shigaraki gets his quirk back and somehow it evolves, the decay spreads to the things the decay touches, which let's him dust cities.My only assumption is that they somehow got the body of the guy I gave Decay to in Tartarus.Nighteye is currently investigating that line of thinking as well as any connections to any hospitals Ujiko may have.On top of that they took Kurogiri's blood in order to try and find out whose quirks were combined to create him.Honestly Toga being here brought a lot of shit to the forefront of my mind, so much so that I'm frankly having a little bit of trouble trying to keep calm." Izuku was near hyperventilating at this point and it showed as Eraserhead grabbed his shoulder.

"Midoriya, look into my eyes."

Izuku did as he gulped suddenly jumped back to reality.

"It'll be okay, knowing about all of this simply means we have time to prepare for their outcome.You said a few weeks and then a year or two, we'll prepare for the threat of the Yakuza first.Next we'll prepare for Shigaraki and whatever powers he obtains.Hopefully we can stop him before it comes to that but you need to stop acting like this is all on you.Did Nighteye mentions anybody else who would be at these battles?"

Izuku remembered Tenya's breathing tactic and decided now was probably a good time to employ it, in out, in out Izuku."He did actually, for the Yakuza battle Momo will be with me.For the Shigaraki battle you'll actually be there with me Aizawa." Izuku hadn't thought about it but where is Momo during that battle?Izuku did not like what her absence could mean.

Seeing the problem child yet again about to freak out Aizawa forced him back to reality."Just because Yaoyorozu isn't there doesn't mean something's happened to her.We are here right now, the future will come when it does, for now tell nobody of these visions.I'll speak with Nedzu and we'll pool all available information about them in order to prepare in the coming weeks.For now Midoriya relax, your safe, everyone's safe." Aizawa did not mention how it feels like the calm before the storm but he didn't need to stress the poor boy out even more, since Aizawa was going to be in that battle with Shigaraki even he needed to start preparing.The good news was that Midoriya was in both of these fights, meaning he defeats the Yakuza, however that did nothing to contain the threat of Shigaraki.If they were lucky they could catch him before he becomes whatever threat he's supposed to become."Regardless let's go collect the class and head back to the dorms, we'll find out who passed later.

They both walked in silence until they reached the arena.

Momo saw the dead look on Izuku's face as he sauntered over with their teacher, whatever happened clearly Izuku and Aizawa had been involved.The girl quickly strode over before hugging him."I'm so glad your okay I was so worried."

Izuku barely reciprocated the hug, his response to the situation had been more to shut down than anything.The greenette just wanted to sleep, at least he wouldn't have to think then, or maybe just pet Eri on the couch.It was as calming to her as it was to him."I'm fine, just need some time to think."

Not exactly the response Momo expected but at least Izuku looked okay physically, mentally it was a completely different story."Izu what happened?You can talk to me."

"It was nothing, I just finally realized some things." Izuku responded dryly."I'm heading back to my room, Eraserhead this will take everyone back to the dorms." Izuku opened a portal before less than gently pulling himself off of Momo and heading through another one.

Momo watched in shock as he left.Izuku had only been like that once and she shuddered thinking about what caused it last time."Aizawa-Sensei what happened?"

The entire class was with Momo, they'd never seen their broccoli headed friend look so dead before.

Aizawa grunted."He'll be fine, he just needs some time.Twice sent a cloned Toga after him and he's not taking it so well."

Hearing the girls name made Momo feel terrible, her biggest mistake thrown right back into her face.No wonder Izuku looked so awful, he still blamed himself for what happened to the girl.Momo didn't really ever get to meet her but the way she acted at the hospital and how she was at the forest were night and day.Momo definitely needed to say something to her boyfriend and try to help.The girl stepped through the portal intent on running up to her boyfriend's room and consoling him.

However the chance never came, as despite everyone's knocks Izuku never responded from his room.In spite of everyone's best efforts to coax the boy from his room he never came out for the entire night, something that worried the class greatly.

When the next day came everyone still had yet to see their class representative, they'd been given the day off to rest after the exam but still the class had enough and called a meeting."As acting class representative I've gathered us all here today to try and get Midoriya out of his room." Momo spoke into the common room.

Shinsou raised his hand before speaking."I can brainwash him and figure out what's wrong."

Tenya near screamed at that suggestion."While it would indeed make Izuku respond that is a terrible Idea Shinsou.The last thing we need is for him to start fearing responding to our calls."

"Yeah purple hair, the damned nerd would clam up even more if you did that.What WE need to do is break his fucking door down, storm into the room and tell him to man the fuck up." Bakugo smirked.

Tenya was going to scream in protest again but Hagakure cut in first."And that's why we don't come to you for advice.Anyway as for a real suggestion, maybe we should just wait.Aizawa did say he'd need time and it's only been a day.We'll see him tomorrow for class at the latest."

"But Toruuuuuuu Midori is hurting and I want to help him, he's helped all of us so much.Sato has he been eating the food you left him at least?" Mina asked the banana man.

Sato shrugged."No he hasn't, even Eri couldn't get him to open the door.I had her go up with a plate of cookies and everything."

Sero was next."I even asked him to play bash bros with me, he's seriously not responding."

Kirishima suddenly thought of something."Uh guys, weird thought but maybe he isn't in there?" The idea would seem far fetched if it were anyone but their class rep but he could just warp somewhere so the possibility wasn't zero.

Momo slapped herself in the face, of course.

Jirou asked the question on everyone's mind."Where is green then?With the League hunting him he should know not to go out." Jirou paused before weakly muttering."...but I guess he isn't really thinking right now."

"I think I may know where he is." Momo stated, there was only one place Izuku would go if he wanted to be alone with his thoughts.Momo was half ready to start a fucking crusade if it meant Nedzu letting them off campus.

"We don't really know if he left." Kaminari added.

"Oh right." Momo's sudden vigor deflated as rapidly as it came.

"Deku's going to be alright I believe in him.Let's just give him some space, he'll be okay." Uraraka's easy smile seemed to greatly alleviate the worries of the class.

"Kero our gestures of goodwill were the best we could do, if he doesn't want our help we can't force it on him.Like Ochako said, we just have to wait."

As if on cue a purple portal opened in the living room before a green haired teen with blood trickling down his nose stepped through.Izuku rubbed the blood clean before talking."Oh hey guys, didn't realize you all were down here."

The majority of the class were so shocked at how okay the boy seemed they were unable to formulate a response."Izuku how has our class representative been?We've been greatly worried for your health as you did not seem to be in the best of sorts." Tenya was the first to respond.

Izuku rubbed the back of his head."I just needed some time to sort through some stuff, I'm good now." Nobody missed how the boys face went dark for a brief second, it scared them honestly.They'd never been scared of the boy before but now for the briefest of moments they felt more than that, they felt terrified."But enough about me, congrats to all of you for getting your provisional licenses.I'm so proud of you guys."

The way the boy was casually deflecting the situation worried Tenya but he decided to ignore it for now, Bakugo on the other hand did not."Oi you fucking nerd, you can't just flake this shit off.You need to talk to somebody about what happened." While the explosion user would never admit it, even he felt scared for a second there.

"I told you I'm fine, I just sorted some stuff in my head out and I'm good now." Izuku reasserted trying to make them drop it."Let's just watch TV or something, oh by the way, Sato here." Izuku walked over grabbing the yellow themed hero by the arm and pumping a quirk into him."It's not a speed quirk per say but it'll let you regulate your body temperature meaning you can keep going for much longer ... you could also use it to melt someone if you wanted." Izuku added.

The class was more than a little worried now, the Izuku before yesterday would've never suggested something like that.Kirishima in particular winced as his bro said that."Dude are you sure your okay?It's totally fine to say you need help."

Visibly irritated now Izuku responded as even more blood dripped from his nose, the boy wasn't even trying to wipe it at this point."Like I said, I'm fine."

"Izu are you okay?" Momo weakly asked, he clearly wasn't.This wasn't her Zu but someone else entirely.

Izuku lessened the irritation on his face for her but it wasn't much."Mo I'm fine for like the fourth time but if everyone's just going to keep telling me to talk to someone I'll go visit Nedzu or Eraserhead okay?" The entire class watched as the boy rapidly exited the room as quickly as he entered.

Momo held out her hand trying to stop him but he just shrugged it off before continuing to leave, Momo felt so helpless right now.

Hagakure said the thing on everybody's mind."What the fuck was that?"

"Okay yeah maybe Shinsou's idea to brainwash him was a good idea." Sero half asked half spoke.

"As worried as I am for our class representative we are not brainwashing him!I will speak to him about his ailments and do my best to mend his spirit, plus ultra as they say." Tenya said before leaving the room running after Izuku.

The thing that worried Momo the most wasn't the things he said it was what he did."Did you all catch that?"

The remaining class members turned to look at her questioningly, seeing that Momo continued."He didn't ask before giving you that quirk Sato."

Everybody instantly understood what she meant, Izuku ALWAYS asked before doing that.He'd hold up his hand giving a person the choice but this time?No choice was involved, and nobody quite liked what that could mean.

It wasn't until the next day that any of the class saw Izuku again and he still seemed hyper focused as if he was ready to lash out at any given moment, even during class his laser like stare was constantly bored into whoever was speaking.The weird thing was his nose was constantly leaking blood but Midoriya didn't look like he was doing anything that stressful.(If only they knew.)

It was brought to the attention of the entire class when Ectoplasm commented on it."Midoriya your nose is bleeding."

Izuku just gingerly brought his hand up feeling it before grabbing a napkin from his pocket and wiping it up."Sorry I was so focused I didn't even notice.

"Midoriya, it seems to be bleeding a lot more than normal.Did you overuse the quirk?" Ectoplasm questioned.

Spamming it at this very moment Ectoplasm-Sensei."No, maybe it's just flaring up, it does that sometimes."

Ectoplasm just grunted returning to the lesson but the class, especially Momo knew that wasn't the entire truth.

When lunch rolled around Momo quickly walked over to Izuku."Izu your coming to lunch with us right?" Deku Squad was nodding behind her.

"Sorry Mo I'm busy.You guys have a good lunchtime okay?" Izuku created a portal before stepping through, which the group watched with differing opinions.

"Guys Deku is starting to worry me." Uraraka stated what was on everybody's mind.

"He's acting like I did at the start of the year." Todoroki added.

Mo did this, this is karma for what happened with that Toga girl.Why did she have to be so stupid and get jealous because Izuku was near another girl, stupid stupid Momo.She brought her hands to her head and tried to hide the fact that she was starting to tear up, she just wanted Izuku back.

"It's only been a couple of days maybe he'll go back to normal soon enough." Kirishima said hoping to help the group out.

"I hope so." Was Momo's only response.

The rest of the day passed quickly until hero training, they were doing quirkless sparing for the day and they'd rotate every 2 minutes.That way everyone would have a shot at sparring everyone, All Might was still in charge of their hero training despite his deflated form.

Toshinori looked out at the class of students and noticed how they kept glancing at Midoriya, who in turn had a look on him All Might had never seen."As I explained go ahead and start your sparring however would you wait a bit young Sero, I wish to speak to young Midoriya before you two start."

Sero nodded and silently thanked the delay, he did not want to fight Midoriya at the moment, even quirkless Sero felt the animosity the boy was radiating.

"Young Midoriya, what seems to be the issue?I heard about the attack two days prior and I'm glad you are alright." Toshinori felt proud of his other successor for earning her license and had congratulated her but she didn't even seem happy at the moment.It must be because Midoriya is hurting and she can't help him.

"Not you too All Might, I promise I'm fine.I've just had some revelations recently about some stuff." Izuku said with a cold steely voice.

Said voice spooked the man because he'd never heard the child talk like that."If you say so young Midoriya.Alright get back to your sparring you two."

Sero stood in front of Midoriya in his usual fighting stance, the calculating look on the other boy made the tape user feel like he was being seen through and he didn't like it.Sero wearily readied his stance not sure what was about to come.

The world sat in slow motion as Izuku mentally thought the steps of this battle out.First, distract target, then block his blind jab.Counter with cross to right cheek, Discombobulate.Dazed, will attempt wild haymaker, employ elbow block.Take free body shot then block feral left swing.Elbow to right jaw bone then capitalize on the injury, further exacerbating it.Slam fist into cracked ribs, follow by traumatizing the solar plexus.In summary ears ringing, jaws fractured, three ribs cracked, full diaphragm hemorrhaging, normal physical recovery six weeks, full psychological recovery, never.

Izuku executed his plan and every single step went just as was planned.Izuku looked down at his work and smirked, he did that all without a quirk after all.Just you wait villains, Izuku has been reborn and this is his start.When Izuku turned the entire class had stopped their sparring to stare in horror at what Izuku just inflicted on their classmate.Izuku simply shook their stares off before walking over to heal Sero.When All Might walked over to talk to Izuku he didn't even turn to look at the man."Yes?"

"Young Midoriya perhaps it's best you sit this out." Toshinori sheepishly added, not wanting to anger the child in front of him.

"Why?I simply sparred with Sero and he'll be healed soon." Izuku replied coldly in a manner that Todoroki who had been watching found oddly similar to his own tone.Realizing that's what he sounded like Todoroki realized he should probably try and not speak like that.

"Well you seem a bitagitatedmy boy, it might be best to rest.You were attacked by a villain like two days ago, I'm not surprised the event has disturbed you." Toshinori was doing his best to make it sound like it wasn't the boys fault he was like this.

"I'm fine." Izuku said dismissing the man.

"Well I don't like putting my foot down but Midoriya you are excused from this training, you may sit on that bench over there.We all need our rest every once in awhile." His voice softened at the end once his order had been given.

Izuku grumbled but complied."Fine."

As the boy walked away the rest of the class looked down at the now repaired Sero who had yet to wake."Okay what happened to young Midoriya, he's like an entirely different person."

Momo was almost sobbing when she heard All Might said that.She'd been inconsolable for the past couple of days for the same reason and the girls all collectively wanted to hit Midoriya for making the poor girl hurt like this."W-we d-don't k-know and h-he w-won't say a-anything."

Everybody present felt for the girl, Toshinori in particular.Somehow he felt like he'd failed the boy, and by doing that he's also failed his other successor."Aizawa was with him, did he say anything?"

"All he did was tell us what happened and that we should give him space, but that clearly isn't working." Kaminari noticed Sero's eyes open and he reached over to lift him up.

"W-what happened?" Sero blearily asked.

"Midoriya." Jiro said the irritation clear in her voice."We need to do something, we can't let him stay like this.It's like he's gotten rid of his emotions or something, he's so ... blank." A weird word choice sure but it felt appropriate to the girl.

"I was unable to catch up to him yesterday after he left the dorms, I'm fairly certain that he made a portal and escaped in that manner.I apologize profusely for being unable to perform such a basic task."Iida bowed to his class.

"Dude chill, it's not your fault.I know Midoriya, he'll be out of his funk in no time Yaomomo, and once he is we'll give him a good whack for being so stupid." Kirishima tried to encourage the girl in his own way but she didn't look reassured in the slightest

"I've k-known him s-since w-we were t-ten, he's n-never been l-like this." Momo said while still crying.

"I will talk to the boy, you all may return to sparring or don't.The choice is yours." Toshinori said trying to break up his class before leaving to sit down on the bench next to the boy.

"Midoriya I'm sure you can see the results of the way your acting.You're scaring your classmates and have driven young Yaoyorozu to tears.What's wrong my boy and please tell me it's not nothing because clearly it is something." Toshinori was pleading with the boy to open up even a little bit.

Izuku on the other hand had barely been listening instead too focused on the sight of his crying girlfriend.The sight was wrong to him, so very wrong, he'd thought he'd killed the part of his body that cared in order to protect her and everyone else but if this was the cost, was it worth it?It had to be ... right?If Izuku stopped caring he wouldn't be sad when he failed to save them.Izuku was a realistic person, like he told Eraserhead, had it been anyone else they likely would've died.If she was capable of an attack like that in broad daylight with likely next to no planning involved, then once she gets tricky people WILL die.Izuku was doing this more to protect the others than himself, that was the pledge he made at Dagobah.If needed he'd become the monster to protect them all.But if all it took was the crying form of his girlfriend and he was already questioning himself, how weak was his will?Realizing Toshinori was talking to him Izuku stopped his internal monologue.

"Young Midoriya, young Midoriya, earth to young Midoriya." Toshinori had resorted to shaking the boy once he realized he wasn't listening.

"Ah sorry, what is it All Might?" Izuku frantically recovered.

"I said do you not see what problems your actions are causing?Your entire class is worried about you, young Yaoyorozu is worried about you, I am worried about you." Young Jiro had a point, he was acting cold and very much unlike himself.

"I see." Was the only response Izuku gave."Is it wrong?"

"Is what wrong Young Midoriya?"

"Trying to turn everything off so it won't hurt when you lose them."

That made Toshinori pause for a bit."Midoriya my boy, do you remember the conversation we had at the hospital the night of the battle with Stain?"

Izuku was confused but responded."Yes?"

"Then you remember what I said about becoming numb to killing people.Because to me it sounds like your trying to do exactly that." Toshinori explained.

"I-I guess I am, I just - if Toga's target had been anyone but me and maybe a few of my classmates they'd be dead right now.She wants to hurt Momo especially because in her deranged mind she somehow stole me from her.I just want to save everyone All Might but we're fighting a bunch of super powered villains that no have no morals and will do everything in their power to get what they want.If I respond with anything less than that I just ... I don't think it'll be enough.And if I fail even one of them, then I know I'm going to blame myself.It's just so much is happening and moving around and the enemy has so many angles of unexpected attack that I can't possibly prepare for every one of them.I mean we got rid of the warp quirk which is amazing but it feels like we removed one problem and four more sprouted up in its place and I just don't know what to do." Izuku had been hurting, he didn't realize it until it was said out loud but really he was.

Toshinori saw the worry and fear etched into his boy's eyes, it was very familiar to how he had felt at one point."My boy, you are not wrong to have these worries in fact after Nana died and it was just me and Torino I shared many of them.However if you let fear dictate your actions, you're letting them win.I must say that I myself never found love for that very same reason ... now that I am retired many things I did are beginning to seem unhealthy, I just hadn't realized it at the time.I stewed in my own anger over what All For One had done for so long that it ate at my very essence, I no longer understood what it meant to be a hero.So when I say that what you're doing reminds me of myself, let me say it comes from experience.True there are dangerous times ahead of us and you will likely not be able to save everyone but that shouldn't stop you from being yourself.Remember what you said to me all those years ago?"

"Now that's the Izuku Midoriya I know, but first I believe you have a class to talk to and an angry One For All user to apologize too." Toshinori smiled brightly at the boy, a little humor in his voice now that things were finally settled.

"...I guess I do." Izuku shot up before speaking."Thanks All Might, for everything.You have no idea how many times you've saved me." Izuku walked off to talk to his class.

All Might himself had started tearing up as he left, stupid boy, making this old man worry like he has.

Izuku saw the majority of his class staring at him as he approached, his mental preparations were far from complete but he still needed to do this."So I may need to apologize for a few things, especially to you Sero."

"Yeah no shit sherlock." Hagakure sniggered.

"Dude you hit me into the floor so fast I don't remember a thing, honestly probably a blessing in disguise.But we good, it was sparring after all, and if it helped bring you out of your funk I don't mind.Though next time you need a sandbag to beat down could you make it Bakugo." Sero said jokingly which made Izuku happy since the boy really wasn't angry.

"You do remember the bomb training right?" Sero stuck out his tongue before running as an angry Bakugo chased him.

"I should probably explain, I was just so worried I'd lose someone that I figured it'd be better to cut emotions off entirely.Which in retrospect, was not the healthiest decision.I just didn't know what I'd do if I lost one of you.I'm sorry." Izuku explained as he bowed.

Todoroki winced before talking."Seeing you like that made me think of myself Midoriya, please remember we are here if you need someone to talk too."

The girl ran over, tears in her eyes as she started lightly wailing on her idiot of a boyfriend.

Much of the class felt like they were intruding on what should be a private moment and went back to sparring or doing literally anything else.It helped that All Might came over and herded the class away from the two.

Izuku gulped before speaking."I'm sorry Mo, it just, some things kind of clicked for me at the license exam.I-I don't even know how to explain it but I just felt so lost, like everything was going to come crumbling down.I'd thought with All For One and Kurogiri dealt with we'd finally be able to rest but then I suddenly find out we have even more dangerous people to deal with and it kind of broke me.Like Toga can somehow turn invisible, be cloned by twice, and even disguise herself as one of us.Hell she told me to my face that she's going to 'remove' the things from my life that I don't need, if I lose you I'm probably going to lose myself.So I thought maybe I could kill that feeling of pain by just not feeling in the first place but in hindsight it's obvious how impossible that is.I just don't know what to do, everything is going to come crashing down soon and we're at the epicenter.I can't protect everyone, not that they need protecting but still in many ways the enemy is going to be coming after us because of me." Izuku briefly rubbed the aching horn on his head."I did this to save Eri and I don't and will never regret that but all I did was shift the target onto my back.I just - I don't know what to do."
