"You're awake." Ent turned off his tablet and got up from the chair. "Are you hungry?"

I narrowed my eyes in suspicion. "Are you hiding something?" Ent rubbed the back of his head and sighed.

"There is no use hiding things from her." Eli took a sip out of a coffee cup and continued typing things on his tablet. He had made himself comfortable in her absence. "We are just trying to figure out how your information got out."

Ent glared back at Eli and leaned against the back of the chair he had been sitting in before. "I was scoping out the Hunters Association." He looked down at the floor.

It almost looked like I had caught him sticking his hand in the cookie jar, and that made me laugh. "Don't laugh!" But I couldn't help myself. "You just looked so much like a guilty child."

"I ought to just let you go hungry." He muttered under his breath. Ent crossed his arms across his chest in defiance.
