"I want that" The man said as he point at one drink.

"Sir, this is quite expensive" The bartender decided to helpfully give the man a reminder.

"How much will it cost?" The man asked.

Auryn is calmly watching everything unfold while nursing his drink and sipping it from time to time.

"30 bronze sir" The bartender respectfully replied.

"Oh"

The bartender thought it caught the man by surprise when he saw his response and started to feel disappointed.

'Well his response can only mean two things, either he is a poor man and it surprises him because it is so costly or he is a rich man and it surprises him that this is consider expensive, we will see which it is in the next moment' Auryn thought and continue to watch from the side without saying a word.

He thought this is some rich man that will buy it but he still decided to explain the value of the wine.

"Sir this wine is quite ol-"

"Give me three of it" The man said as he slam a silver coin on the table!

"Sir your 10 bronze Chang-"

"Keep it" The man cut him off and walk back towards Auryn's table and sat down once again.

The surprise on Jack's face can be vividly seen as he watch everything unfold while Auryn is as indifferent as ever.

"Sir you are quite rich, there are better bars, why did you decided to come here?" Jack decided to ask as he couldn't contain his curiosity anymore.

"What better way to mingle with the majority when you are new? I want to know this place better"

Jack nodded his head as a new idea surfaced in his mind, a money making idea.

"We are natives of this place, we can show you all over the place!" Jack enthusiastically said.

"I'll accept your offer" The man replied as he sip his drink.

"You are from beyond this sea, right? If you don't mind, I'll like to hear stories about where you are from" Auryn suddenly speaks.

"Oh where I am from... It's a long story that can not be finished overnight but I can give you some basic and interesting information about it"

"I am all ears" Auryn said, 'What better way to enjoy a story than when you are drinking wine and listening to it, especially when it's such fine wine' Auryn thought as he listened attentively.

"It is a vast land, full of flourishing lands and bustling cities, it is a place of law and order where magic and something known as machines exist" He paused as if to see their reaction.

Jack's face is one of surprise while Auryn is an expert in masking his expression though he is very surprised inwardly.

'So this world is not only a magical world but involve technology as well, another interesting knowledge to learn and more mysteries to unveil' Auryn internally make his plan.

"The great thing about where I am from is that both mechanical Machines and magic work in harmony with a striking balance between them"

"What is this Machines you speak of?" Jack curiously asked.

"They are great work of art and skill with great precision and intelligence, they are design to ease the daily tasks of the humans and not only that!" He raised his finger as if to signal that's not all.

"There are training machines, fighting machines and even mining machines! It is safe to say that Machine covers everything in our day to day life" The man said.

"Machines... training machines... are there humanoid machines? And if someone can make machines... will they earn money?" Jack asked.

"Of course there is, inventors and engineers of machines can make money" The man answered.

"Hey Auryn you also make Machines right?!" Jack suddenly exclaimed.

'Damn, this idiot, now this unknown dude is gonna focus on me more ' Auryn's mouth almost twitch, just as he thought, the man focused his gaze on Auryn.

"Is it true that you can make machines?" The man asked.

"More or less yeah" Auryn answered and decided to sip his drink to make things more casual.

"Didn't you think it's time you introduce yourself?" Auryn suddenly asked.

"Why don't you go first" The man said with an amused smile and before Auryn can reply, "I am jack and this stoneface like human is my childhood friend, Auryn"

'You shouldn't have said the stone face part, you idiot' Auryn felt like sighing like an Old man due to this tall idiot messing around.

"Jack and Auryn... Auryn what rare name you have..." The man mumbled.

"Yeah, I bet he's the only one with the name" Jack proudly declared.

"You should introduce yourself too" Auryn decided to cut to the chase, 'This whole thing is starting to feel sus, an unknown man sudden appear and sat down on our table and now he is taking sometime to even answer such a simple question'

"I am S- Lancel- Ahem I am Lance" After stuttering on his first two words, he cough to clear his throat and announce his name.

"Hmm Lance Huh, what a weird name" Auryn mumbled enough for the man to hear him.

'That name sounded like what he will just come up with at that instant, he made two mistakes and tried to conceal it before announcing his name, just who is he and what is his purpose?' Auryn's face remain indifferent while on the inside, his thoughts darken slightly.

"I don't believe that it is as simple as you made it sound, why don't you tell me the struggles" Auryn said.

"Hmm you are the smart type I see, indeed everything is not as peaceful as it seems, machinery rebellion has started to appear and mages are also rebelling in another part"

"No matter how you see it, we are about to enter a tumultuous and tough time!" Lance announced.

'It's just as I thought... there can't be such a peaceful place' Auryn thought as he becomes more interested than ever.
