"Auryn you are late" A stern old man said as he appeared with a walking stick from the house just when Auryn has arrived.

"I am sorry I got caught up in some discussion and meet a new friend, he is from where he call the mainland" Auryn said.

"Mainland you say?" His old man asked.

"Yes, you know something about it? I am very curious"

"Of course I do" Master Zach smiled, Zach is the name of the old man that took care of him from when he was nothing to the current Auryn that is known today in this world.

"Can you tell me about it?" Auryn asked.

"That will have to wait till tomorrow, you have to sleep now" Master Zach said with a kind smile as he patted Auryn's shoulder.

"Have you taken your medicine today?" Auryn asked.

"Hahaha of course i did, I am diligent unlike you" He laugh as he push Auryn into the house.

"Now go and sleep, sleep is essential for young ones. Probably the lack of sleep is what makes you short" Master Zach said while they were walking.

"Not that I care about been short or tall" Auryn said, height was never his concern.

"You always impress me with your way of thinking, most men desired to be tall and handsome" Master Zach said.

"They can keep trying then, I desire to be wise and powerful, isn't it all that matters?" Auryn said.

"It is" Master Zach gave a short answer as they stood before Auryn's room.

"And when I am very knowledgeable and powerful, I promise to find you a complete cure to your wound" Auryn announced with determined expression.

A loving smile appeared on Zach's face as his eye turn moist, "You are enough for me, just you for been here with me, seeing you makes me happy"

"Nothing gives happiness more than a healthy body" Auryn said as he enter his room to sleep.

'What a good child, the only problem is he has zero interest in love, or else I'll have start planning for his marriage' Master Zach sigh as he also leave the doorway to rest.

A tired voice is heard counting, it is none other than Auryn as he finish his early morning routine and sat down to rest.

He opened a water container and drink from it to quench his thirst and pour the rest on his head.

"I must say, you are quiet diligent" Auryn recognizes the voice as Zach's voice.

"It is the only way that I can start to be stronger, the exam is in about 20 days" Auryn said.

His body feels hot, he can feel the sweat leaving his body as he felt the hotness of his body while sitting down and thinking about what type of exam he will encounter.

"Indeed and I have something to say" Zach said as he walk towards Auryn and sat beside him.

"You should take a boat and visit this place" Zach brought out a map and show a dot on it.

"It will be beneficial for your strength, mostly people decided to look for a boat when they are in the academy but talented individuals are able to do it beforehand"

"I believe in your talents and your strength, remember that place Is nothing like safe so you should be cautious"

Auryn nodded his head and collected the map, "I will not disappoint you, so as to not waste time, I will go later today"

"So fast, but I have to agree, we are running out of time" Zach sighed like the old man he is.

"I am glad you agreed, I need everything to win this and I will try my best to come back early" Auryn said with determination in his eyes.

"Yes, I believe in your capabilities young Auryn" Zach smiled.

"Will you tell me about the mainland now?" Auryn asked.

"Oh the mainland, this brings back memories" Zach said as he felt a feeling of nostalgia.

"I know about some of the basic information like Lord Alistair, Etheria Imperium Empire And Arcanum Dominion" Auryn said.

"Oh that's great then, there is a The Aetheria Academy, it is a prestigious academy and a heaven for mages"
