As the opening intro ended and the greetings were displayed, a cartoonish 3D character appeared on the screen. It was a finely chiseled well build naked man, only showing off his upper body. But there was something strange about him—where the head that usually attaches between the shoulder and the neck is not there, instead, there was a treasure chest with sharp, cool teeth protruding from its opening, and peeking from inside the chest was a brilliant and shining yellow sphere.

The treasure chest made it seem like the shining sphere was the treasure, if not for the sharp teeth making it peculiar.

As you look longer and closer at it, you experience a psychological phenomenon called pareidolia, where inanimate objects, patterns, or arrangements appear to resemble a human face. You then notice that the treasure chest resembles a face, with the cool sharp teeth forming a mouth and the peeking brilliant shining yellow sphere, which you thought was the treasure, resembling an eye.

With that realization, you figure out that the treasure chest on top of the human character's body is not an odd thing but a playful design of the character that the creator and the one personalizing it prepared for their show.

Seeing the chat, I can't help but feel nervous again, but the positive response reassures me. However, I'm still worried about something.

As I think about this, I look at the box displaying a number next to the word "views." Understanding what it means, I look at the number again, and my mind goes awry.

What is this number?! I didn't expect such a high count. As an upstart, I anticipated low views. Just reaching ten thousand views would be great, but a hundred thousand? It seems suspicious, like a prank or a hack.

Unbeknownst to me, while I'm fretting over this, Makina is broadcasting the video worldwide. She edits the video to capture the viewer's attention, translating and dubbing my words into other languages with my voice. This makes viewers feel like the streamer is a fellow countryman, igniting their nationalism, and most impressive of all, Makina does all this almost in real-time, with only a fraction of a second delay.

Did you believe that, not even a second come past, If I knew this, I'd be in awe of Makina's competency, unable to continue the show as I'd be too distracted by admiration. Also, realizing that this live stream is being broadcast globally would turn me to stone from sheer anxiety. Fortunately—or unfortunately—I'm oblivious to all this, and I carry on with the show unaware.

Speaking of being unaware, Makina views this achievement as underwhelming, unlike me. According to her calculations and simulations, the video was expected to reach at least half a million, or five hundred thousand, views upon its initial release and worldwide broadcast. Given that the video is being broadcast to a global population of eleven to twelve billion people, this view count is indeed underwhelming from her perspective. Disappointed by the discrepancy between her predictions and the actual performance, Makina doubles down on her efforts, recalculating and running new simulations for what might happen next.

"Haha, what a warm welcome. I'll be honest, as an upstart, I'm not expecting this number. It's grateful enough if only one of you is watching, but for that to multiply to one hundred of thousands—my lifetime of luck might have run out for this to happen."
