Kim Ji-Yeon

Rather than being surprised by his sudden resurrection, the woman seemed more bothered by the fact that Liang Wei appeared naked.

"Why don't you have any clothes on?" she asked, confusion etched on her face.

Liang Wei, infuriated by her nonchalant attitude, couldn't contain his anger.

"You brute! Did you really kill me just because I said you look attractive? What if I had actually died?"

The woman casually picked at her ears and replied without a care in the world.

"You just did."

Liang Wei's words caught in his throat, his face turning a deep shade of red.

"I mean, for real!"

The woman, now engrossed in her stretches, replied nonchalantly.

"You can't, tiny carrot. This realm has no concept of permanent death."

Liang Wei's eyes widened in disbelief.

Not because he had been killed and resurrected, but because she had dared to call him tiny!

"You!!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with rage.

He quickly rose to his feet, his anger surpassing his embarrassment.

"How dare you call my little bro tiny?!! He's at least average!"

The woman paused her stretching routine and turned to face him, a deadpan expression on her face.

She glanced at his face before shifting her gaze downward to his genital area.

"Heh."

Liang Wei gritted his teeth, his frustration boiling over.

"You bit-"

Before he could finish his sentence, he exploded into a splatter of blood and gore once again.

Gasping for breath, Liang Wei reformed in the same naked state as before.

"Can you stop killing me?"

The woman shrugged.

"I'm only getting started. You need to withstand my attack for at least 3 seconds if you want to leave this place."

Liang Wei's eyes widened.

"What? No fucking way!"

He immediately called out to the system in his head, desperately seeking an escape.

'System! Get me out of here!'

To his dismay, there was no sign of the usual chime of the system.

'What?...'

The woman smirked and commented on his predicament.

"A system, huh? That explains it. But to get here into the Path means it must be really close to origin, huh?"

Liang Wei's eyes shook as the woman seemingly read his thoughts, causing a chill to run down his spine.

The woman enjoyed his fear and continued taunting him.

"That's right, I can know everything you think."

She chuckled, relishing in her advantage.

Liang Wei furrowed his brow, determined to find a way out. Suddenly, he closed his eyes and assumed a meditative position, trying to calm his mind.

The woman looked surprised, thinking he was attempting to resist her with meditation.

'Hmm, meditating to calm your mind? Good thinking, but pretty useless against me.'

She grinned inwardly as she channeled her Qi into Liang Wei's mind, hoping to disrupt his focus.

However, her amusement quickly turned to shock as she entered his mind.

'Ah~'

'Stop it~'

'Ahh~'

'Not there~ no~'

'I'm sorry for calling you tiny, you aren't tiny at all, you're big~'

The woman's temples throbbed as she witnessed the explicit images conjured up in his head.

She saw herself engaging in all sorts of lewd activities with him, in positions she had never even imagined.

Without uttering a word, there was only one sound that echoed through the silent white space.

SPLAT

Liang Wei reformed once again, naked and bewildered.

The woman stood before him, wiping the splattered blood off her face, a mix of astonishment and disgust in her eyes.

"You... pervert," she muttered, her voice filled with a mixture of disbelief and disdain.

Liang Wei's lecherous grin widened as he shamelessly ogled her body.

"Hehehe, If you don't let me out, I'll have even more interesting thoughts."

The woman's patience wore thin as she considered her options.

She couldn't simply let him leave without him gaining something from this experience, as was the rule for those who entered the 'Path'.

Specters, like herself, were distinguished warriors who had traversed the path in the past.

They were tasked with teaching and guiding those who entered, but most importantly, making sure they learned a valuable lesson.

While most who entered the path were respectful and strong martial artists who had achieved rejuvenation, occasionally, there were individuals like Liang Wei who used underhanded techniques to enter.

They were usually not taught any significant skills and were allowed to leave after spending some time in this place.

However, Kim Ji-Yeon, having risen from the deepest depths of hell, despised those who sought shortcuts to success.

Kim Ji-Yeon contemplated for a moment, her annoyance evident in her expression.

She finally relented but imposed her own condition.

"Fine, I won't do anything to you, but you'll have to stay here for some time before leaving. Those are the rules," she stated firmly.

'Liang Wei assessed Kim Ji-Yeon's face and sensed that she wouldn't budge any further.

He reluctantly agreed, knowing that it was the best outcome he could hope for.

"Sure, as long as you don't insult my little bro, we're good," he replied, a hint of satisfaction in his voice.

Kim Ji-Yeon twisted her face in disgust.

With a swift motion, she reached into her breast cloth and pulled out an old, worn-out book.

Tossing it to Liang Wei, she watched as he caught it.

The book felt warm in his hands, indicating it had come from the heated environment they were in.

He inspected it curiously, noting its tattered appearance.

"What is this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You can't depart without gaining any knowledge. That manual is the easiest one I have. Memorize it," she explained, her tone laced with impatience.

Liang Wei examined the book, its pages yellowed and fragile.

He opened it, revealing an array of illustrations depicting various martial arts techniques.

His face contorted into a big question mark as he flipped through the pages, trying to make sense of the enigmatic illustrations.

"Um... What is this supposed to mean?" he muttered to himself, scratching his head in confusion.

The words were written in Korean, a language he was familiar with, but the content of the manual seemed to be shrouded in mysterious complexity.

Glancing up, Liang Wei noticed that Kim Ji-Yeon had turned away from him, gazing ahead at the empty white expanse.

'This is gonna be hard...'
