2 An Unexpected Encounter
With his character name in place, he was
transferred to a different space which had the
back drop of the sky.
Another hologram appeared before him
it was a character creation menu.
[Choose a race.....] He had chosen the human
race since it was the only one available to
him at the moment,he decided to leave his
character's appearance as it was.
After his character creation a map appeared
beneath his feet showing the world of
'AO' and it's provinces.
There were four provinces in 'AO' there
the east,west,north and south, Alex chose the
the eastern province since he knew everything
he chose sun kingdom as his affiliated
kingdom , minutes later he had lost all sense as he was pulled into the world of Ascension.
When he regained his senses he noticed
that he had been dropped in the middle of a
forest.
Around him were hundreds of tick and tall
trees everywhere he looked,Alex then burst
into laughter as he was finally back into the
game.
In Ascension Online players were dropped
off in random locations as their starting points,
The developers wanted the players to have a
feeling of being in an actual fantasy world
were they would have to survive on their own
without the safety system of the AI like other
games. Whiles trying to adapt to his character's body
he received a notification it was a quest.

the shadow forest of your kingdom to be finally
affiliated to your kingdom .

[QUEST STARTS]
Without a moment's waste Alex called up the
system map to find any town which was close
to his location ,he found one he was familiar
with it was the green horn town.
Immediately he took off running towards
the town ,since the start of the game players
were not given weapons or any other thing that
would help them in the beginning, to survive
they would have to rely on the on strength.
While running through the forest he crossed
paths with his first monster it was a soldier
rank level 6 wolf.
In Ascension Monsters were ranked from

>RARE
>LORD
>KING
>EMPEROR
>SAINT
>DIVINE
In Ascension level 6 King rank Monsters could
destroy cities without breaking a sweat, after
fighting the monsters for past few hours finally
made it out of the forest .
He was breathing heavily and was soaked
in his own sweat he checked the map to find
out how long the rest of the journey was,he had
2km left to go until he reached the town.
He continued to run towards the town after
resting for a while. With only 500m left to go he saw a group of knights fighting rare rank Level
10 gnomes whiles also protecting a carriage
At first he wanted to ignore them but
recalled a memory of how a player once got
priceless rewards for helping the knights fend
off the monsters.
Without hesitation Akex threw a stone at
one of the gnomes ,the stone hit the gnome
chirping away some of its HP the gnome turn
only to see Alex .
It got angry and charged towards him Alex
continued to throw the stones at the gnome as
it got closer to him ,before the gnome would
reach him it's HP had hit zero .
When the gnomes saw this they changed
their target from the knights to Alex they all
rushed towards like raging bulls, Alex took a
broken sword from the dead gnomes loot and
also charged towards them with his raw
strength took out all the gnomes within a few
minutes.
The Knights couldn't believe what they saw
the monsters they were struggling to fight
were slaughtered by a youth within minutes.
Suddenly he heard a pop sound

Alex had reached level 6 and top it up also got
300 gold coins and a silver Chest, he couldn't
help but rejoice .He collected the loot from the
the gnomes and stored it inside his bag .
One of the knights was walking towards him ,
when he saw the Knight's armor he knew he
was a knight captain ,when the knight reached
him, he introduced himself to Alex as Grey.
Alex also introduced himself as Black Lotus he
spoke with the knight for a while before got
another notification.

Alex couldn't contain his emotions he had
completed a hidden quest which was s rank
and acquired his first skill and title with an
epic chest.
Minutes later a girl came out of carriage
wearing a blue gown her eyes were scarlet red
her beauty was something Alex hadn't seen in
life. As she got down the Knights all knelt down
before her .
When Both their eyes met the couldn't look
away as she had scarlet eyes Alex had Crystal
blue eyes both complimenting each other the
scene shocked the Knights as the princess
was the type that wouldn't look at those who
were not wealthy of her attention but now how
she looked at Alex shocked them all.
After a while the knight captain coughed
breaking the silence the princess got closer to
Alex and started thanking him for saving her .
Alex was unable to speak to the princess ,
He was in a trance the beauty of the princess
took his breath away when the princess saw
she couldn't help but laugh at him .
When he heard a laughter he broke out of
the trance only to see the princess in front of
him, Alex quickly bowed to her to show respect.
"Thank you for helping me"
" It's nothing princess so no need to thank me"
The princess ordered one of the Knights to get
a box from the carriage ,when the box was
brought the princess opened it and took out a
bow handing it over to Alex .
When he saw the bow he immediately
recognized it,the bow was made by the elder
blacksmiths and there were runes engraved
on it .Alex patiently took it hiding his joy
When Alex received the bow he thanked the
princess for her kindness.
She accepted his thanks with a smile
"Ooh sorry I forgot to introduce my self, am
Stella Rose of the sun kingdom"
"It's a pleasure to me you and thank you
for saving me the just Knight."
Alex felt shy for a moment before introducing
himself
"Am Black Lotus and it's a pleasure to
make your acquaintance."
After a getting to know each other Stella
left with her Knights going back to the kingdom
Alex checked bows attributes
