From Baloo's Favorite Manager

Baloo hesitated. But, Baloo didn't understand why. 

Noting that hesitation to speak and how Baloo's body froze for a moment, Ayse finally backed off. "Well, that's your choice I guess. I'll respect that. But I will ask for more food!"

Ayse turned the hulking man around, slapped his upper back, and shoved him toward the stove. Snickering, Ayse asked, "Don't forget about the fang-beak meat! We've got to try that too, right?"

"R-right…" Baloo replied with a smile.

However, for a split second, all vibrancy faded from the grin. And Baloo's eyes had dulled while glancing back at Ayse. 

As Baloo's mind stopped wrestling itself, Baloo reached up. He touched the metal collar around his neck. It was the lifelong reminder of his irremovable status in society, of the unchanging lifestyle forced upon Baloo since the beginning of his memories. 

At the same time, Baloo's other hand rubbed the side of his right thigh, briefly.
