Emergency Broadcast

Ayse could see and sense how the woman's body had locked up. So, instead of wasting time waiting…

Slap!

"Get going!" Ayse screamed in her ear while smacking her ass toward the door.

The blow was strong enough to leave a bruise. It was the perfect wake-up call from that momentary nightmare. She stumbled from the push but managed to keep her footing while running into the door.

As she opened the door to leave, the woman gave one last fearful stare to Ayse. Fearful of being with an unpredictable man, but also fearful of a free life she'd never had before; starting from scratch with nothing to her name and no roof over her head.

C-crack!

Then, a knife piercing the thick bedroom door, centimeters from her face, gave her that final boost of motivation.

Ayse closed the door behind the woman and dashed into action. "Great, now I have even less time."
